@Radio Golden Voice Flyer now with less homeless!: The split bumper 1970 1/2 ground hugger was the first muscle car I tried to purchase. My dad vetoed the idea because he grew up with overpowered muscle cars. I got another truck instead... and I'm still sore about the "one that got away" - beautiful blue base color

@fastmov4: This is very true. Let's start making our own GN's then... it worked for that guy rebuilding old Jeep Wagoneers (or something like that).

@SerialThriller: Maybe he has a thing for (post-workout) octogenarians.

Needs moar t-tops!

@WarpedCore: 99.99% of the Jalopnik commentariat would rejoice, myself included.

@Radio Golden Voice Flyer now with less homeless!: You are talking my language there. The second car that I saw that caused me to just stop and stare at it for a prolonged period of time (when I was way below driving age) was my uncle's Camaro RS/SS. In fact, it still makes me smile when I think about that car. It

Supercharging... my kind of hybrid. What will the RS/SS package entail (assuming that they keep bringing back the old trim levels)?

@BeanBone: It's already making the rounds on the interwebs, so it won't be purely Jalopnik's fault.

@morphine500 - with added audi 5cyl: Back in high school, I had an S-10 (Durango package) with the 2.8L V6. Some shabby grounding with the radio meant that if you turned it to AM stations, the subs would react to the engine's electrical noise with lots of bass. It sounded like a dragster lobing through the parking

Electric, you say? I, for one, would prefer the sound of a high-strung V8 screaming behind my head as I push one of these around a track.

@Mark Greig: I'm pretty sure it's not a "protip" if you don't even know if it's still possible... more like a vague memory from back in the day.

@Roberto G.: I guess I can only verify the no ice thing with Germany and France. I've always wanted to visit Italy - this only gives me one more reason. When I get back from working in Germany (2-3 week stint), I can't wait for drinks with ice. Mixed drinks are served with ice in Germany though...

@doug-g: Europeans drink Pepsi or Coke warm with no ice. In fact, the fridge in our office in Germany didn't have a freezer or icemaker. If you were served ice, either you were in an airport or somewhere that was used to catering to Americans.

@Isetta: My thoughts exactly. I can't imagine the pressure that he must feel, and yet he had to settle for a cut-rate operation for his first F1 ride due to unforeseen circumstances. I hope he gets a solid ride for next year.

Congrats on both COTD and your first rally win. If this is your first COTD, I think our friend X would have something to say...

@POLAЯ: Thanks for talking me down. I really needed that.

@gman1023: Tomorrow's QOTD will be the best car to represent a village...

Oprah was wrong?! My whole world has been turned upside-down.

@stephdumas: I like the way you think. The original version was not a sissified SUV.
