@Se7en_speed: Some other sites use a thumbs-up as points, kind of like promoting something (IntenseDebate-powered sites like Hooniverse, for example). Gawker's sites are the only ones that I know of where there are two "classes" of commenters.

I thought that Tesla (who is now in bed with Toyota, right?) was going to utilize the NUMMI factory (well, ok... a small portion of the factory). Oh, and good luck getting any money out of GM Liquidation Co.

@TurboB7: I guess you don't realize that starred commenters don't need promoted.

@Grackle: Awesome. I really like Futurama... so glad that they brought it back.

@interrogator_chaplain: That's pretty bad, but the poor bastard in front of me just left with two Azteks and a Pinto.

Spectacular! I'll take three!

@mantaTM: I hear it's the best kind or party.

Talk about late to the party... our home-built supercars are now up to 8 wheels around here, thank you.

@LarsVargas: I sure as hell wouldn't want to be in front of this beast. I might get sucked into one of the blowers. Very cool stuff though. If I ever get to the point in life where I have f-it money, I will build something similar and drop it in a chopped... something.

This is the kind of diesel technology that I can get behind!

I just saw this over on BangShift... the Aussies sure know how to recycle tires.

@Alfisted: You do not talk to me like that!! I work too hard to deal with this stuff!! I work too hard!! I'm a Division Manager in charge of 49 people!! I drive a Dodge Stratus!!

He's probably not wearing a cup either. Wait... what?!

Next up: The damage modeling comparison test!

@RB26Skyline- big bore envy: That's exactly my point. I can just stare at this in total confusion for minutes at a time. It kind of gives me vertigo. I only know that it came from a batch of images from a Murilee post about Billetproof.

@avengingtn: You couldn't hit the broad side of an aircraft carrier...
