1. These things are seriously dumb. If you’ve removed so much of the functionality out of your car that it can get stuck on a leaf in the road, then it’s dumb. Don’t cheap out on engine oil. Ever hear of sludge? 700,000 miles so far using Mobile 1. No rebuilds. 96 Ranger 2.3. Unless you must have a new care every 2 years, using good synthetic oil is cheap in the long run
I run K&Ns but for environmental and lazy reasons more than “more power!” I don’t believe or care about the “more power!” I don’t like that a ton of paper filters end up wasting away in landfills. I never need to replace my filter but once.
