I know look at Chicago’s record since ‘85.

Weren’t it’s stablemates the MX-6 and Ford Probe and GT? At least up until 1997. The MX-6 with the 2.5 V6 and 5 speed was an excellent ride and so was my ‘94 Probe GT.
Had a 2002 626 ES with the V6 engine for a little under 4 years. A low mileage example that I bought in 2008 used. At the time, anything fuel efficient was pretty much unaffordable for me (See 2002 Honda Civics with 60,000 miles and a tape deck (no CD player) for $13,000 being the norm). You had to upsize to save…
Of course a long roof makes things better:
Your friend must have been experimenting with hallucinogens.
Meh Car Monday feels like an “Old Jalopnik” segment and it’s so much fun to read and please never stop it.
There are also barely any 626's left today in the U.S. because most of them were automatics and the automatic transmissions in these 626's have a near 100% premature failure rate.
I had a friend in college who boldly claimed that the Mazda 626 was Mazda’s attempt at making a BMW 3-Series.
I always liked the 626. Not enough to own one, but still...
To be fair the 626 and especially the Protege still driver better than a contemporary Camry/Corolla and felt faster than they actually were.
LT1 FTW. Optispark = Optigrab.
How will I ever be able to flick my cigarette butt at your sanctimonious ass if I don’t have a lighter?
(I’m nearing retirement and shopping for houses in the CO mountains.)
There’s nothing wrong with Colorado. The problem is people leaving their cars unlocked. If you’ve never been you ought to change that.
How does someone who went to UT Austin not know how to pronounce Colorado?
No, it’s fucking terrible.
False, Colorado is the best.
Pretty much every state in western U.S. has problems with bears. Even Arizona and New Mexico to some extent.
I dunno, there are some pretty bits.
It’s a lot safer to light a cigarette with an electric lighter element than a butane or (especially) naphtha lighter while you’re driving. Cars don’t come with cassette players any more because nobody uses cassette tapes. Plenty of people still smoke.
