The entire storyline was an epic Dory Previn reference - Tavi looking like late-60s Mia, Mia cheating with Andre (composer, not a Beatles professor, but still music-related!), Dory being institutionalised. That, and the no dinosaurs in hell were pretty awesome.

In the first season, it was the Eccleston-centric episode that convinced me the show was something special. Everyone on the show is amazing but he’s next-level brilliant.

And he definitely had a lot to contribute to that discourse. “I’m not homophobic but all that attention was kind of irritating.” Pretty sure even a lesbian nun would want to hop on that. Jokes aside, he was a pretty compelling guy.

This is the second time I’v seen someone refer to the Faceless Men as “paid assassins”. I haven’t read the books, but on the show it’s never shown or implied that they take any money/form of payment for their killings.
