Used police cars have the same issue as used rental cars. They aren’t your car so they become the best off road and fastest car in the world. I’m sure this was abused as much as any rental. No Dice.
Cop car miles are never easy miles. This thing is below buying a former rental car. Plus were the detectives that drove this thing working for the SCUBA squad? Is that why the steely spare is all rust? ND Barney Fife.
That looks ‘sporty..!’
Travelers, students, or other H1-B employees were my first thought. A lot of people flew home when covid hit and then couldn’t get visas renewed all summer. I started teaching at CMU in the fall and desks had just been left with work and equipment on them, expecting it to blow over quickly and then things like that…
Toyota finally introduced the ability to raise and lower the driver seat position of the Taco for the 2020 model year. Before that, the dealer told me “Toyota says it can’t be done yet.”
I’m only 6'1" - but I’m a bit of an ape, with a long torso. I had a 2012 Tacoma; loved that truck, because it just worked, and didn’t cause any trouble, and was and did everything you’d want a mid-sized truck to be and do. But the cabin is awfully short - the frame sits high off the ground (good thing b/c of ground…
I mean our rest areas are fine, and meet most of our needs when traveling within state. I did appreciate all of the amenities offered on the turnpike for what was a longer trip that required stops for meals and fuel.
“Avoid minivans” is terrible advice.
Nissan Kicks
We have here the crossing of 3 things
Rolling coal when a person is in the vicinity and when the individual rolling coal intentionally or knowingly causes that excess exhaust to contact that bystander is AT A MINIMUM an assault. They are causing their vehicle to “spit” on a living, breathing, human being that is worthy of dignity and not having his or her…
Affluenza must be nice.
I bet my left nut that his parents make voting choices based on “law and order” and who’s “tough on crime”.
My client is a young man in high school with college aspirations.
Counter point: this kid did this with PURELY criminal intent to attack these people. if this was a bucket of paint or fire crackers that he threw at them, the intention would be clear. Why is intentional excessive exhaust smoke any different? Let alone the fact that this fuck-up then actually ran people over while…
GM’s 2nd-gen X cars–the Citation et al. The hatches especially were such a great concept: An efficient, practical size, but a notch above the subcompact penalty box you’d normally associate with the form factor. A modern FWD layout. I even like the look of the Citation in a form-follows-function kind of way. But no…
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s the Pontiac Aztek. If it launched today with cleaner lines, a prettier face and modern features, it would be a strong contender in the war of offroad capable CUV’s.
