Precisely. You can listen to any of your anti-vax coworkers or friends (if you have any left; I don’t) and it’s always “But the risk of me getting seriously sick and dying is low, so why wear a mask / vaccinate / whatever?” It’s always “me me me me,” and I’ll never get behind any political party, movement, or even

The specific problem with conservative-type thinking is this - why should I do something for *other people’s* benefit? If I don’t currently have COVID, and I can’t imagine getting it, then the vaccine doesn’t benefit me personally. Shortsighted and selfish, yes, but I think it explains their position.

Can the democrats stop shooting themselves in the foot for just one goddam election cycle

3000GT. They’ve always had a timeless look to them, but from everyone I’ve spoken with they can be a real nightmare to own due to the fact that so many little things can go wrong.

I am always perplexed. Is someone going to steal your plate number? Couldn’t they just steal the actual plate at the grocery store? Steal the number on the highway? Its publicly displayed info normally, why hide it now?

I’ll go with Volvo V90. Sure, it is cross country only but that doesn’t bother me at all. I love the car; its handsome, drives well, and has tons of cargo space. I want to go electric for my next car this makes that choice challenging

The whole group of boxy wagon/hatchbacks from the 80s and 90s that predated the cuv crossover craze.

Subaru Baja

Beat the SUV craze by a generation.

Or just use the aqueous parts washers.  If it’s a commercial location, contact your local Safety-Kleen rep. I pushed our machine shop to switch to aqueous parts washer.  They told me it wouldn’t work, but they’d try it.  Took all of about 3 days before they came to me and told me to get the old unit and solvent out of

Yeah, CARB and OTC rules come into play.  Some can be avoided by using high-flash (141) solvents, but aqueous works fine for most applications.

The second gen had so many neat interior tricks, like the fold down tray table center console and dash-mounted parking brake. Everything else about the car was bland and lame, but Honda really had some clever interior designers in that era. It was a shame that they seemed to ditch those unique features with the newer

Not sure if it qualifies as dirt cheap but first gen Honda CR-Vs came with a folding table in the spare tire compartment. I think they still have them to this day but they’re definitely not dirt cheap anymore.

sorry about your dick bro”
I say this in my head whenever I drive past a Bro-dozer.

also where the hell does everyone get the money to buy and then do that to a truck?

Ford knows damn well their cop car contract isn’t worth putting in jeopardy. Besides, the last Caprice was “proven technology” with RWD and a pushrod engine and it didn’t do well at all.

3rd Gear: “Decision” to not unionize my ass. Toyota, Tesla, and every other non-union manufacturer have spent massive amounts of money fighting against unionization efforts while lying to their employees about the union boogeyman.
