Came here for this. I’m 6'6" with a 36" inseam, so I’m usually more focused on head room over leg room.
St. Louis is the poster child for this, especially Cardinals fans. Every baseball season we get to hear about vehicles being broken into parked in lots near Busch Stadium because thieves know that so many people coming into the city from outside of I-270 are packing because the “city is so scary”...but they can’t…
1) That cars entering a limited access highway do not have the right of way. I move over if I can, but I shouldn’t have to slow down or speed up to accommodate you. Yield signs are there for a reason.
Nice! I was just there last weekend for the game vs. Emporia State.
I looked at one once back in 2007. Being 6'6" I figured the high ceiling would be perfect for me, which it was....but the leg room did not correlate to the head room and that was disappointing.
I wonder if there are any good TDI or 2.0T Beetle convertibles out there still that aren’t stupidly overpriced. The 2013-2019 came with either a 6-speed manual or DSG.
Neutral: Head to your local running store and get a proper fitment. A good shop will analyze your walking/running gait, arches, pronation, etc. and give you some options. Once you find something you like, it’s easy to scour the internet for replacements. I like to stay a model behind to catch them on clearance. Everyon…
Takes me back to my college days. I had a 1990 Escort Wagon, same red on red. Very well preserved though for sure. When I had mine it was about 10 years old and similar mileage and didn’t look nearly this good! Wish mine would have been a manual though. That three speed auto screamed on the highway. Looks like the…
They are Ford wheels. In addition to the Escort, they were also on the Tempo and maybe the Mercury Topaz as well.
Surprised to see the Table Rock Lake (Branson, MO) duck boat accident didn’t make the list: https://apnews.com/article/missouri-duck-boat-accident-charges-9be4b42462ab8c878cd35cc7f3bbf809
Concerning the C-MAX, I still don’t understand why Ford didn’t put the hybrid drivetrain from that into the Transit Connect after it was killed off.
When I was in Ireland last year, I think every C-HR I saw on the road was a hybrid. While I personally did not care for the C-HR when it was offered in the States, not just the styling but also the size (I’m too tall to fit), I was surprised to see the hybrid version and that it was never offered here.
That’s true. I merely wanted to point out that the one shown in the article was the “good” interior of the two.
I missed this QOTD and maybe no one suggested it, but I’m disappointed the “Ride Pontiac Ride” ad wasn’t on the list.
Corolla Hybrid LE. 53 city/46 hwy/50 combined mpg, starts at $24,145 incl. destination fee.
Recently a Tesla Model 3 from Hertz in Phoenix and it was a pretty good experience. The price was about the same as renting a mid-size ICE vehicle. There were about two dozen Superchargers within a mile of our AirBnB, so charging was not an issue. Drove about 275 miles over 4 days and spent about $20 on charging while…
