Beautiful time capsule, but it’s a no from me. Another example where rare and well preserved doesn’t equal high price.

Will it still get about 12 mpg?
There’s a “no idling over 3 minutes” ordinance in St. Louis County, MO, but since it’s a Department of Public Health/Air Pollution ordinance PD leaves it to DPH to enforce without a real enforcement structure in place.
I’ve been part of a citizens advisory council for capital expenditures for the City of St. Louis. When we got to the part where fleet was asking to buy 90+ Chevy Tahoes for patrol vehicles I asked why the Ford Explorer PI Hybrid wasn’t an option and the response I got was “it’s unproven technology.” The purchase price…
I’m also 6'6" (36" inseam) and have rode in the passenger seat of a family member’s Kona. I fit just fine, but I don’t think anyone would have been able to sit behind me. Also important to note my head wasn’t bumping the ceiling either and it was equipped with a sunroof.
That chain of dealerships wouldn’t happen to start with an “S” and end with a “P” would it? I bought a new car from there a few years ago and they offered a lifetime powertrain warranty as long as you serviced exclusively there, except that their VW service department is one of the worst in the area. No thanks.
For people that can afford the Rock n’ Roll Lifestyle.
VW Golf Alltrack. Great car that only lasted three model years.
The Volt front seat was too small too...at least the 1st gen. Never sat in a 2nd gen version.
I have legit seen this before during a pre-pandemic morning commute, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
GM 4.3L V6 which was I believe was basically a Chevy small-block with two cylinders lopped off.
My mom had an ‘84 or ‘85 Cutlass Supreme coupe. V8, black over red, red landau roof, t-tops, Chevy rally wheels w/ white letter BFG tires. Brings back a lot of good childhood memories for sure.
Not to mention I-70 between STL and KC is a disaster infrastructure-wise. Decades of neglect and never expanding it to three lanes in each direction results in getting stuck behind cars camping in the left lane and a semi truck that takes 5+miles to pass the other semi truck going slightly slower.
That makes sense. Yesterday I saw a tv ad for the Escape, and when the voice-over announcer read off the current incentives, there was an extra $1000 bonus cash for build-to-order.
For a feature, I would probably say when automakers offered a factory CD changer mounted in the trunk. Better hope you loaded some good stuff in there.
Glove box trunk release buttons were a ‘90s GM thing too. When I was a kid we had a ‘93 Pontiac Grand Prix and the trunk button was in the glove box. Interesting side note the glove box had a combination lock instead of a traditional key lock.
NP if it and the vegetative grinder are a package deal.
Only top dollar when it comes to mail-order brides.
I feel you, I’m in the same situation. Too tall (or too broke, haha) for anything fun. There’s been a couple times where I fit in the car fine but my shoes were too wide and the pedals were too close together.
Thankfully it avoided becoming the next Great Salt Lake.
