All but the driver can have an open container in Missouri. Exceptions are a couple of municipalities on I-70 (Foristell and Independence) and at least one on I-55 (Festus). Not having grown up here, I still feel like I need to hide it when I’m a passenger with a roadie.
Neutral: I would prefer an EV credit policy that helps put more lower and middle income people in an EV. The existing tax credit policy doesn’t really accomplish that.
I don’t remember the exact year, but my mom owned an ‘84 or ‘85 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It was black with a red interior, Chevy rally wheels from the 60s-70's, white-letter BFG Radial T/A tires, probably a 307 V8, and the all important T-Tops.
Not a fan of the sours at Funkwerks?
I’m 6'6", and it’s a lot harder than you think. It’s funny how many bigger vehicles are out there you would think someone like me would fit comfortably in, but don’t, and how many smaller vehicles I shouldn’t fit comfortably in, but do. I drive a VW Golf Alltrack and have plenty of room. A friend of mine has a Tacoma…
My dad, a GM retiree, said they referred to this version as the “toilet” Nova.
I’m a Gen X-er and I love my manual VW Golf Alltrack.
Definitely wasn’t shocked to see “Lake of the Ozarks, MO Craigslist” when I got to the end of the article.
J-Kwon might know the level of Tipsy.
Or commercials of the 80's where everything needed a song and a slogan. Car commercials were big on that.
He’s too distracted by Tatas.
I was introduced to Casey’s pizza when I briefly lived in NW Iowa, and I agree, it is the best gas station pizza out there. I stop for a slice or two when I’m on the road and come across a Casey’s. QuikTrip comes in second (QT dominates the St. Louis area), they do a pretty good breakfast pizza.
Service schedules are no longer published so that dealer service departments can try to tell you that you need fuel system treatments, battery terminal sprays, and other bullshit services.
I’m not sure about that. My stepfather was a UPS driver, and I wouldn’t have ever described him as “fit.”
I only ask because, while I am taller than the average person (6'6"), I couldn’t even sit in the first gen Volt.
But is it easy to get in and out of?
