So does this mean that GM is conceding that the strike will be over by then?

I had a union job as a summer job when I was in college, and union dues were an hour of wages every two weeks. Not sure if other unions collect dues in the same manner.
It’s not as bad for a one-way trip. There’s two options, the Lake Express from Milwaukee to Muskegon or The SS Badger from Manitowoc to Ludington. Lake Express takes 2.5 hours and costs $95.50 per adult and $105 per vehicle. The SS Badger takes four hours and costs $72 per adult and $72 per vehicle. Sometimes the…
You pay your home and auto insurance premiums hoping that you don’t have to use it, but effectively you’re giving the insurance company money to be able to pay out other people’s claims. Isn’t that the same thing?
I entertained the idea of lifting my Alltrack and I’ve seen some pretty good looking examples, but I don’t live in a place that I would be using it much and deemed it a waste of money.
Is it me, or does the Gametime Cheap Beer of the Week sound more like a name for condoms?
I had a herniated disc in my lower back circa 2010. Prior to having surgery to fix it, the clinic I was going to prescribed me Soma (muscle relaxer) and Oxycodone. I took one of each when I got home, subsequently felt like garbage. Did some research on the two meds used together and discovered it’s even more addictive…
Disregard. I didn’t realize that Orlando already had a team, so in effect, I would agree with you in questioning why Orlando has a team and other cities don’t.
It’s going on state land between 64/40 and Market west of Union Station. There’s an interchange that was constructed to go from 64/40 to a highway that was never built and eventually scrapped all together (Missouri Route 755). The state agreed to give up rights to the land for a soccer stadium.
A lot of changes are currently being made at Union Station. https://www.stlouisunionstation.com/attractions
Orlando may have more tourist attractions, but I would imagine what makes them less attractive is all of the transplants. I think they would face the same problems that Arizona teams have, that transplants are still loyal to their hometown teams.
It’s likely going to be built west of Union Station. There is a highway interchange from I-64/US-40 that goes to a highway that was never built, MO 755.
Those are fair points. I figured it’s mostly a contractual or preference thing. I feel like there has to be some sort of happy medium since the STL metro area also has problems with air quality and high asthma rates among its population. And well, the city is broke.
I wonder this as well. The St. Louis Metro PD has replaced most of its aging Impala fleet with Tahoes. I know we have our excessive crime problem, but I still don’t understand why an urban police department needs an all-Tahoe patrol fleet.
