Because I’m old, I’ve encountered many of these types — it’s never about staying to be the good dad. It’s about staying to avoid the costly divorce/alimony/child support.

I always find it remarkable that people think because same sex marriage is legalized, we’ve achieved equality. I mean, I live in a state where you can both marry someone of the same gender and get fired for it. That’s a not uncommon situation.
