I’m so pissed that they killed Deadspin. The level of stupidy by the fuckfaces at G/O is mindblowing. The only reason why millions of people read Deadspin (and made it THE cashcow of the Gizmodo Group aquisition) over places like Sports Illustrated or ESPN is BECAUSE it never stuck to sports.

Same :( I have no interest in cars or American sports but I did read Deadspin and Jalopnik - I read Splinter even when I could no longer comment, and I read the Root (hell, I love the Takeout too!).
