Sorta like at least implying Bane’s rule of two wasn’t how it always was, but the old republic was brimming with Jedi and Sith conflict. Or grey Jedi concept becoming official,…

You’re right, EU had varying degrees of “canon” that sometimes still contradicted the movies. What I’m referring to more is how it was able to create a universe that felt ancient, with thousands of years of history and legend.

Yeah, and all the background stuff mentioned in Clone Wars the show too. I’m not saying they will necessarily put conflicting stories into place. I’m worried they’ll just flat out ignore the stories, and never speak of them again, making the galaxy a very small place.

I’m more worried that because overall the prequels didn’t appeal to these new filmmakers, things that emerged from that continuity, like the hundred thousand year conflict between Jedi and Sith, the Old Republic, Revan, Darth Plagueis... etc... are just now gone.

That is great, but I’m hoping they can do the same for skyward sword. That game’s semi-cell shaded graphics are gorgeous but imagine the HD upgrade!
