ALSO this aircraft has been crashed. NTSB reports on file.

Reported:

It's not a great aircraft...fairly high airframe time...some of those planes have 4-6k max (by FAA cert). Engine has 650hrs until major (which is a long time if you only fly a couple times a month). Crappy radios. Crappy transponder. Not well maintained.

Bonnie Blue BBQ, coffee, etc in Winchester is the real deal.

Ars Technica did it DURING the presentation...

no — scale to fit is on.

turn off scaling when you print "scale to fit"

The Vice Presidency is not a position of power.

AHHHHHHH IT'S LIKE A TVR!!!!! I want.

LOOKS LIKE A TVR.

Unfortunately, those 4-5k hours give people the sense they're better than they are...that's the killer. My father flies...when he flies, it's by the book 100%. Ever have an issue, it's put that sucker on the ground as safely and quickly as possible, and on an airstrip if possible.

bingo. That's it. System issues aren't worth dying for. Declare an emergency, get on the ground, let a A&P and systems folks check it.

That's ATC's call to let him descend. It would have been better for him to declare an emergency and just tell them he need to drop IMMEDIATELY to below 12,000...they would have approved and moved any traffic under him to make way.

I....I thi.....yeah...I don't like it.

Mine is coming one day. I commute 90min to/from work, and I pass police all the time doing 75-80....Virginia is no joke for speeding....my day is coming...

MAN that thing is clean, for what it is....
