Ha, I just started FC5 last week too. Def not as enjoyable as 3 and 4. Probably helps that those actually had interesting villains. But the guys in 5? Ugh I just really really hate religious zealots /cults.

I love Farcry. I know it’s not an amazing game and shouldn’t win any awards but I know exactly what I’m getting into and it’s good quick mindless fun. A couple tips for FC5. Don’t bother with any companions except the dog. They other people will just throw grenades and moltovs at you or themselves. And don’t worry…
Tip, if you get into Souls, be sure to play the trilogy in order. There’s a lot of callbacks/throughlines that are easy to miss if (as some recommend) you start with 3.
HZD: Frozen Wilds had one of my favorite side character quests, in a game where I loved most of the side characters. I hope you enjoy it.

I think one of the problems with RDR2 is that you want to explore and try out all the stuff in the beginning of the game, like so many other open world games, not realizing that you’d be better off moving the story line along a little before you start exploring.
