Perhaps a better term for what you are describing would be ‘post processing’. It’s left over from the old days of print but it doesn’t feel as loaded as ‘photoshopped’ and both of the images you posted have been post processed. For example the color temperature of exposure in both images has been altered and the FF7

Seriously, can we just have a moratorium on the photoshop accusations? every one of these cosplay comment sections is starting to sound exactly the same.

Everything is perfect about this cosplay. The costume, the stances, the shooting, the post-prod.

First of all, thank you for saying the costume work and make up is very nice. It took me so much time.

Anyone would look either good or bad with different lighting. In studio we have power over lights. White light makes the skin much smoother than the yellow light from the sunlight.

I get your point but playing with blueish tones and saturation is not what I call more photoshop than cosplay; which was your first post that you kinda contradicted with the few others you wrote in this topic. That MGS picture got the same amount of contrast adjustments just not the same way and it’s absolutely fine.

No problem, we want people to be informed but we have no control over minds just like about anything in life, people will have to say something about it, agree or disagree, that is human. We will show videos of our make up and costumes as Lucrecia and Vincent. Then it will clear up some misunderstandings. We are not

I am sorry, but this picture of Vincent has nothing touched up on his face. How do I know? Cause I stand right before. Also, there is a clear difference with MGS characters and FF ones.

Thank you for pointing that out. And that cellphone photo is a good example of what make up I can do. And I had even latex inside my mouth so to say it hurts but if it makes me look more like the character, well so be it.

Let’s be real - it is not photoshop. Seen with my own eyes, touched with my hands, fixed some things. So I do know.

Lady Zero here. As neither I or Vincent cosplayer took those costumes for convention - as those two are way too much work to get them into convention and it takes forever to put them on - I can just show you any other cosplay on the hall photo. Ta-da. I don’t like to hear the photoshop comments, when you work your ass

I don’t personally know the guy, but i saw him and his girlfriend at my local convention (Otakuthon) this year and i can vouch for the legit aspect of the cosplay. Yeah maybe there’s some photoshop here and there, but the guy as a really special androgynous face. I saw them i their casual clothes and even there they

I’m a guy. But that’s very flattering though.

I have seen original photos of this cosplayer when I shot myself with the photographer, the photoshop is very minimal. I’ve rarely seen someone with such a statuesque face in person, it really is impressive.

Accurate cosplay is accurate.

Vouching that this isn’t all photoshop. I’ve worked with Lexa One Photographie before, and I can tell you that the raw and unedited photos are absolutely incredible. The photographer is very good at setting up lighting and posing to create perfect photos. She’s extremely talented and so is the cosplayer featured here.
