lol, yeah they really care about that “allegedly” thing. The reporting on this story was really irresponsible.

Now playing

I liked the cover of A Forest by the Cure. Here’s a good acoustic version:

lol the guy on the left

Hey, yeah, sorry comment was edited. Thought i’d make it in before you read. Btw, i agree with you about the trump camp response. It’s bullshit. I just think that elements of the left are going too far in trying to downplay the implications of the 2005 bill, which in my opinion are more far-reaching than they are

Violence against whom?

That was Eric Stoltz.

Seriously. Trump is way out of line here. But where was the commenters’ indignation when HRC and Chelsea had a similar arrangement?

Stop using superfluous adverbs in your titles and leads. And stop calling everything awesome.

So what’s your opinion on Downey? I’ve always loved his deadpan delivery. Never really bothered to think about his politics.

What if it’s a joke and political commentary? What is the proper procedure?

His grandfather was a wealthy industrialist. He became president and CEO of Occidental Petroleum in 1957. He also owned a large amount of stock in Church and Dwight, manufacturer of Arm and Hammer, but the name was a coincidence. The brand pre-dated his birth by 31 years:

Reporting is only as good as the support staff that handles the intake, and given the reluctance of companies like Twitter (Facebook) to spend much on support, I doubt the new reporting tool will be very effective.

Presenting these figures in the absence of a comparison to 2012 is not helpful. 42% of people making less than $30k voted republican this year versus 35% last year. A greater percentage of people making over $100k voted democratic compared to 2012.

They did select her. And it was a stupid move. The defining feature of this election on both sides of the aisle was populism, and in spite of knowing that and seeing Bernie polled better against Trump than Hillary did, the DNC and the majority of primary voters still backed the epitome of an anti-populist candidate.

In absolute terms, yes. Not in percentage terms. Absolute terms are less meaningful since the population grows exponentially.

The democrats chose the antithesis of a populist candidate in an election where populism was the dominant theme on both sides of the aisle. What did they think would happen? And while misogynistic undertones (and in some cases overtones) certainly define portions of her opposition, it’s simplistic to view her loss

The democrats are not blameless. The party machine favored the candidate that polled worse in a general election. And I say this as someone who voted for Clinton.

The lawsuit does not bode well for AT&T, which is currently in the process of trying to acquire Time Warner Cable (a separate company from Time Warner) for $85.4 billion.
