I'll be happy when I can just walk through a security check-point all willy-nilly and they can scan everything I have. I hate taking out my laptop, removing everything from my pockets, taking off my shoes, my jacket, my hat, my belt, etc.

I remember e-mailing Valve and asking if they would do this a long time ago. They do a fine job of managing games, so why not extend that support to applications even if it were under a different name.

For newer games since my graphics card is an aging beast I just set my resolution lower. My 1920 x 1200 monitor set to 1440 x 900 makes everything slightly blurry so I can set a low or no AA. I get a better framerate and it's a better looking picture then with jaggies.

@ddthesm: Shelling out hundreds? To upgrade to 7? Just go buy an OEM copy of the OS and install it buddy.

How about a signed copy of one of the Jeeps? I'd much rather show that off.

That game was ridiculously fun. I remember it seemed like such a dumb concept and I had waned off Pokemon by then (I was in 8th grade, that was kiddy stuff).

Odd they would allow abandonware, it's still technically illegal to have it.

Very interesting, the lack of an optical drive doesn't really hinder me either. Maybe I can convince my company I need an upgrade from this aluminum MacBook!

Poor fella, but it's true. While all his games are thoroughly entertaining I would not put any of them in the highest caste of games.

@Tetsuooooooo: Depends on who you are though. A friend of mine rationalized that he will get a 32GB now cause he wants it so badly. He knows a new one will be out soon, so before it's released he will sell it.

I'm sure a lot of them are as you said doing just e-mail and surfing the web.
