When I saw the first shots I had no clue how they're going to make it work, but hearing it explained like that makes it sound like it could be a lot of fun!

Can't please everyone.

That was a pretty lame list, non-gamers seem to know who Pac-Man, Mario and maybe Master Chief are, good luck with any other references like Portal or Final Fantasy. Oh but of course they know GTA, who doesn't?

Y'know between their comment, "We couldn't take the complaining anymore," and the one made by a Fox News 'reporter' during the Mass Effect scandal, "It's just so hard to be a parent now days," people in this day and age are just pathetic.

Longer demos is a big plus, one might pirate a game because they don't want to pay full-price to know if a game is worth it. A half-hour demo should precede just about every game IMO.

Probably just FPS, I'm better than most anyone I play at any game and I'd say other genres but when it comes to my brother FPS is the only one I can do better than him in. For some reason he's got a knack to be able to pick up any game and be ridiculously good at it.

@Piemonkey: Employ people to help, purchase programs to make the stuff in, computers that may have been necessary and I'm sure there's things I don't know about that may have been necessary to the process. Mind you this is over the course of three years— if creating even a game like this was so cheap they may be a

@Blue Oyster Cultist: Dungeon Keeper was awesome, I was immediately reminded of it when I first saw Overlord.

Right now I'm gonna check out some of those demos from nVidia's website boasting the PhysX stuff. Other than that I will probably give Braid another play-through to see how long it takes and get back to some much needed Persona 3.

First they go ahead and call it Arkham Asylum, knowing that it's already got a lot to live up to but could potentially be insanely good. Then they say it'll have the notables from Batman's Rogues Gallery then they say Paul Dini is writing it and it's being headed by a studio that seems to know well what they're doing.

I'm just down the road in San Antonio (an hour away) so I think I'll take a trip up to Austin when he opens his doors. Been wanting to go up there lately anyway and here's a great reason to.

I think the fact that Braid is over, and all-too-soon, is the only complaint I've seen about the actual game. Everyone else bitches about it's price and it's creator.

There's the infamous 'Trekkies' if you want to feel better about yourself. I suggest only watching 15 minutes at a time, otherwise it will just depress you.

If this is the new system specs it's more accessible than when FEAR was initially released (not sure about after). Good thing is with my quad-core and 8800 after applying the 1.21 patch and playing it again for the first time since it came out the game performance really improved. I'm sure this expansion will help a

@Erwin: I've always wanted to do this:

You need fucking Matt Damon, eh?

Oh and what's up with warm Dr. Pepper? No one I know likes drinking anything warm unless it's coffee =P

A friend and I took a day trip up to the Dr. Pepper plant to get some Dublin Dr. Pepper (made with cane sugar), twas quite fun. Small town BBQ, great Dr. Pepper and 281 N from San Antonio is the most beautiful stretch of highway in America!

@Rehabilitator: Oh boohoo, after patching it's not that strenuous and you can buy a very good computer now to play Crysis and any other game for cheap. I played Crysis when it launched and I played it just recently with the new patch— my framerate went way up after applying all the patches and when I did auto-config

@Quilt: Good point, doesn't she usually have some sort of smirk or something in ads? All these models are usually dead serious when it comes to the role. No character but they sure got everything else ;)
