Someone hasn't seen Atlanta

Hey - some of us like over-wrought prose! And to me I'd rather have over-wrought prose than poor imitations of Hemingway or McCarthy.

I'd be more offended if it wasn't based off a book.

ap-ple sauce

Oh thats another perfect album or at least close to it in my perfect. My ES ranking probably goes something like: Either/Or, S/T, Roman Candle, XO, Figure 8. With special regards to some amazing songs on FABOAH but I don't consider that a fully realized album. And the difference between Either/Or and Figure 8 is

I am going to have to respectfully agree to disagree. Because while I definitely think that Either/Or is a perfect album hands down, Roman Candle definitely comes close. I just adore that rough rawness of it.

With that attitude I don't know then how you can leave Roman Candle out of the equation. I feel like the album is so raw and vulnerable.

Catsup*

Well not necessarily because a comment above mentioned its also about the flavor and fat is different in a farm raised fresh chicken than a what you typically find in a store. (Not that you can't find that in a store but it definitely depends on the store)

Man I've spent too many miles driving in the middle of bumfuck nowhere listening to Long Drive to kick it out of the top 3. Its actually in the top 2 for me. Its just the perfect cross country road trip driving album. Talking Shit about A Pretty Sunset might be one of my most favorite songs ever.

For me the difference between Good News and Dashboard is not that the style changed too much its just that I don't think the songs on Dashboard are as good as Good News. And I say this as someone who has/had an email address that was steam.engenius. Dashboard dropped at the height of my love of MM and it was the CD of

Man I just don't understand this thought. I was a massive Modest Mouse fan when this album dropped and I basically forced myself to like but I can't tell you the last time I actually went and listened to it over their earlier stuff.

I think that if it was a true engagement party Tom would have know before he showed up - you know since he brought a gift and all.

Vladimir Putin at tinyhands@(aol.com) sent in his opinions too

The Sunset Tree to start out with. And then maybe go to Tallahassee or Heretic Pride. If you come out of that and you're craving more, well, I've got some great news because he has an impressive catalogue that you can explore for years. Some other highlights include We Shall All Be Healed, All Hail West Texas, Get

I just finished it and while I wasn't as overall enthralled as I was with WIWV it definitely lingers a lot. I almost want to start reading it over again because I think it's one of those that lingers and grows over time with each successive reading.

I just finished it and I think its going to be one of those grows with you books. The subtle hints at horror that the premise suggests I think prime the reader too much into thinking the book is about actions and not about the often lack of action that exists. It's definitely a book that I think will linger and

Avocado, Lime, and Salt. End of story.

Wow that brings me back - I had to go and listen to this just because of how much I used to listen to them. I was so in love with the Papercut Chronicles when it came out. I remember when I first heard Taxi Driver and my friends would sit there and try to count all the band references in it.

I feel like Dance Yrself Clean would be a great song to wake up to if you struggled with hitting snooze a lot. I can imagine laying in bed until the break and then just jumping up and start dancing like a maniac.
