I just picked up Food Lab and man does that suck you in. Well at least it does for me, I started reading and just couldn't stop; it just speaks to my soul when it comes to cooking.

I don't want to make fun of you but to expect Universal Studio Tour salmon to be even remotely the same as fresh caught alaskan salmon is a but funny. But your experience totally confirms the fact that the best seafood is fresh seafood.

Is Demetri Martin considered a prop comic or just a comic who uses the occasional prop? Because he's pretty great…

I'd be a bigger fan of South Park if it was: "Everyone is a hypocrite, its okay" rather than "Everyone is a hypocrite expect for those who point out all the hypocrisy".

Maybe because one side gave people cancer and the other side gave people mild inconvenience.

I don't think they actually buy into both sides REALLY being bad (or maybe they do! I don't know!)
Based on this interview - they do: http://www.huffingtonpost.c…

Ron Swanson?

Yeah I got about halfway through the idiot before I felt it kind of lost its way. I did love her style of writing though, just couldn't keep up with the main character.

If your Manhattan is cloying then you need to find a new bartender.

What are your thoughts on the new Laura Marling - I'm in absolute love with that first song. It just sends shivers down my spine but the rest of the album seems to trail off from there. Its not bad - its a good album but very traditional "Laura Marling" folk rather than the weird haunting first song.

I really like Tennis but for some reason I haven't gotten around to listening to the "new" record. Other than that I've still been spinning Kendrick, the new Feist, the new Mac Demarco, and the new Sylvan Esso in a weird but kinda nice rotation. Also super hyped for the new National album coming in September, the new

damn it - Eva Green would have been perfect. She just clicks into place.

@eclare:disqus Oh god — you've awakened in me things that I never thought possible and Idare not imagine.
