I agree to a point but I think there is something to say for putting a woman or someone nonwhite into a role that has traditionally been a white male. You are forcing the fact and perception that they are both equal. If you just created new shows (not that I am arguing against this, I would love more shows centered

I heard through Neil Gaimen that they approached a black actor for the part and he turned them down! Obviously that really isn't substantiated but its enough to cause a bit of a eyebrow raise.

I am just glad it wasn't Ben Whishaw (Q from Skyfall) as much as I loved the quirky look and attitude from Tennant and to a greater extent Smith, I think we needed to age it up a bit (not that the Doctor is ever without some quirk) and lend a mite of gravitas to the role. That was a pretty horrendous trailer, if only for the weird ending with Heroes

His relationship to his aunt was more prominent and pronounced in the book, it was built up that she was the person he was closest to growing up so it was supposed to be a huge life-altering moment when he realizes it at the end but since the movie left out most of the aunt stuff (for mostly good reason, it fits

I am going to try to get tickets to one of the two shows in Austin in February but I assume they will be sold out rather quickly.

Sorry @avclub-a452630477eb936fd36fc9a9542d4598:disqus but at least you have that episode to look forward to!

Is Season Two the one with Topsy? Because that has to be in consideration for best Original TV Song, along with several other Bob's songs. Bob's Burgers has been my go to recommended show for people who are looking for something new to watch on Netflix.

We are currently in negotiations to see what they will give us, but it looks like they don't have a responsibility beyond fixing the leak and the damages. Luckily they are paying for the room and gave us money for meals while we are out.

I think Todd just tweeted about this.

Al, this is fucking genius

Yeah, it was similar issue with us, the leak started on a Saturday, we had someone out on Sunday night and then Monday morning but nothing was done until Thursday and now we have been out of our apartment since last Friday (technically we did stay there Sunday night but we left to stay with relatives over the weekend
