I agree with your analysis of the digital nature of keyboard walking, it is finnicky. As for your points on realism of war, I don't see how you can say that. Sure if consoles didn't have auto/sticky-aim then your analogy would be apt (miss sometimes), instead console users with controllers DO get "some kind of

So you went from attempting to prove your previous posts to becoming hurt and resentful, attempting to claim my logically and poignant posts are a diatribe? Perhaps counter with logic when it's used against you, otherwise you just look silly, along with your previous statements about advertising, privacy, the XBone,

You don't need to download said apps. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that when you search Google, that info is saved for marketing, although you can spoof your Google info just the same (though few do).

It doesn't matter that you had a PC before a console, you were taught that the PC was for work, and the console for gaming. You easily gave up when attempting to game on your PC. You seem to act like the time you learned how to game on your PC is now wasted, and you'll have to constantly spend that time fixing

If you dealt with the hassle it would quickly get easier. You basically learned all you need to. My point still stands that console gaming is barely easier than PC gaming.

In fairness it was in a response to Ghost621>Hououin Kyouma regarding marketing companies. Let's just agree that neither of us is completely right here and that some of what he says has validity.

There are levels of security. Blocking NSA from "illegally" accessing your data is extremely difficult to do. Blocking data that will be sold to advertisers is in a whole different ballpark, and much easier to control.

PC has all those things with much better functionality, free. Who cares if they take 1 minute to download the app and install it? Are extremely superior apps that you don't have to pay $35-60/year for not worth literally 5 minutes to install them all?

Preferring your PC to do PC things, when it also does "game things" better than a console for the same price, is only done due to habit. You've been trained to think of a PC that way, just like you've been trained to ignore ads even though they're not good for you.

If you were "smarter than the technology" you would realize that a PC provides higher quality gaming with better hardware. Why is this? Consoles require: More expensive games, paid internet/services (which are WORSE than the PC applications that perform many more functions), and ads (ie the things that you say don't

You are certainly correct about phones and people's ignorance of their privacy with them. Almost every app collects data for the purposes of servings ads to you or collecting metrics on you.

If you read Hououin's comments you'll quickly see he's too blind to realize the value of freedoms, and thus says he doesn't care about them in essence. You're right it doesn't take a genius to know this, just somebody that has some common sense. Unfortunately he doesn't.

He's clearly a pro-corporate consumer (ie: a sheep), with little more than basic knowledge of technology. Android, Firefox (w/ NoScript & AdBlock Plus, etc), etc like you said. And why is this done? Because I hate the sound of being pandered to with bad ads on TV (I have none and no cable). And I feel better for

+1, similar response as the first half of Freyar's response to you.

Honestly you're reading too far into it. Most likely it'll be part of the EULA until/if XBox One users complain/lobby enough to give an option for it, at which point the spying will be enabled by default.

I agree. I support women's rights AND men's rights. It's an unfortunate fact that even my father who I feel is an advocate of feminism and alternative political methodology has never brought up a conversation about the negatives affecting men. In fact in the history of being around many feminists, I have yet to

Troll? I despise trolls. You are ignoring that you made a ridiculous statement that your whole discussion in this thread has been based upon, then you revised it and again made a ridiculous statement. That's my point, you are saying garbage.

"He didn't say launch games, he said he bought a launch day console and zero exclusive games that he actually wants to play at launch. Not launch games."

I didn't say non-exclusive, I said non-launch day. You're basically saying "non-launch day launch day item". Which is meaningless and therefore illogical. Re-read what he said.
