The Road Master is absolutly the ONLY approprate name for this marviouls holdover of Americana. Fake wood panneled, vista sunroofed, honest to god body on frame wagon that starts in one area code and ends in the next!

In Japan it’s called the LeGrand. So... HELL YEAH!

The answer to the recall question is incredibly simple, car has an open safty related recall it can’t pass state inspection. Done and done. The real question is why the fuck isn’t that implemnted?!

Kinja weidness, only one image link?

Also this:

While I’m far from a huge Ford fan, this car is completely competitive with many of the modern hot hatches, running with things like an Abarth and turbo Veloster and not too far behind new GTI’s etc. I’ll admit I’ve always wanted one.

A lot of people talk about how the OG Gran Tourismo got them into Japanese cars, well I love (and know about) this car because of that game.

Absolutely the Skoda 130 R. (The “R” stands for “Rapid” if I’m not mistaken.)

After seeing the teaser of the rear end I waned to like it, I really did, but,

As someone who owned an ‘86 16v Scirocco I have to say CP. This is an example of, just because a car is old and uncommon (I refuse to call this rare,) doesn’t automatically make it worth money. It’s not pretty like the original and it’s not a 16v, so...

Those are good guesses, but no, none of those. Good guesses though.

BAN Le HEALLFLUSH!!!

Well it’s got crazy power considering what the stock motor had, but I mean, a turbo I5 would probably be more awesomer.

I don’t know how to vote on this one. I think he is asking a reasonable and realistic price for it. BUT, I doubt I’d ever actually consider buying it even for $1k. Too many unknowns, red flags etc.

Absolutely! It’s amazing that other than the day you buy it and putting gas into it, people think that you shouldn’t have to spend any money on a car, and if you do it’s “a lemon.” I can’t tell you how many times I hear people complain that their car gave them no trouble until it hit 60 or 70k miles and then started

Good eyes. Since the front end and steering wheel is Ford, I’m going to say it was in a front end collision and they used Ford parts to fix it. That or they like to try and mess with the police and parking maids.

Eh, I liked that look of that plate (what you have pictured) then, but I think the current “gold” plate is terrible. Really terrible.

Yeah, let’s say you sold your car, you can’t cancel your insurance until you get a receipt from the DMV showing you surrendered the plates.
