I know I'm fighting a loosing battle here and just harping, but the lack of phallic appendages sprouting up here whose sole purpose is for me to grab and slam, is a deal-breaker, and makes me sad.

I do believe you are correct. According to my memory, not going to google this one thought, just going to whing it.
I also don't understand why all cars don't have the headlight hooked up to a switched wire, it's convent in the winter and on rainy days (note, I've never driven a Swedish car that didn't do that) and it helps prevent battery drain if your forgetful.
I find American cars, especially Fords are the touchiest, most eager to slam a gear on the downshift. But that's far from a scientific research process. I own the Toyota and work with VWs so I have lots of time in both. I still buy stick for my cars though, and will do my damnedest to always. UUnrelated side note, I'm…
The way he went towards that wall reminded me of Greg Moore. I think it's one hell of a lucky coincidence he ended up hitting the wall with the bottom three quarters of the car...
I actually don't mind CVTs when compared to conventional automatics. I hate that, okay I'm pulling away from a stoplight like a normal person, but I want to go a little bit faster so I'll just push ever-so-slightly more on the gas, and BAM! it slams down a gear, revs the engine to infinity etc. Never happens with a…
According to Joe Saward there have not been any announcements as to the date of the entry, which is odd, but it's even funnier that everyone has just made the assumption of 2015 on their own. http://joesaward.wordpress.com/2014/04/11/a-f…
Yes, I agree, but honestly driving is always safer with you lights on, makes you more visible to others even if it's too bright to make a difference with your vision. That's the idea behind DRLs, but nothing wrong with keeping the taillights illuminated either.
Realistically, if they don't already have a car designed and all the infrastructure in Europe already in place then they are not showing up for 2015. Would they have gone to that level of investment before being guaranteed an entry? I doubt it. And they are obviously not purchasing an already existing team, because if…
Needs MOAR "no my penis really isn't that small," tack on, carbon aerodynamic thingies.
Being the oblivious fool driving with all their lights completely off when it's way past sunset/before sunrise. You honk at them, flash your high beams, turn your lights on and off, wave and motion...nothing works - they just stare straight on ahead twirling their hair, singing along, or totally zoned out....UNTIL…
Cheer up Sunshine. At least you made it to the end of the race to mess up. I witnessed this, though it is not my video, for fun note how the rear wheels almost jump off the ground:
I had an uncle who had a Town Car with the digital speedo. It just stopped at 85mph. No blinking, just held steady. He would max it out and keep going the then count the seconds until it went down to 84 and would use that method of measurement to claim he was going 100 mph.
Some observations:
And a wicked plush interior too!
Planing a trip to drag strip tomorrow.
I did it, I finally did it. Got it in an enclosed parking garage. Pretty great, though it's odd how as the revs go up, everything seems to quite down a little. Also, with the intake you can hear the full spool and release of the turbo, echoing, everything echoing!
