This definitely wasn’t on my bingo card.

Except it’s not? If McDonald’s advertised a burger shown to have a thick juicy burger patty that was clearly a 1/3 lb. or more, and then sold you their standard hamburger patty that comes in at about 1.6 oz. it would be the same complaint.
Does the complaint have merit? Sure. Does the lawsuit? No. Because it will result in paltry payouts for those affected while lining the pockets of the law firm filing the suit. Class actions like these, where the actual monetary damage to affected plaintiffs amounts to 10s of dollars each, need to be outlawed. Or at…
I think Lurch, and I share this position, is asserting that people too stupid to realize how advertising has worked for longer than they’ve been alive shouldn’t be enriching lawyers over bullshit. Without an extremely strict and tightly worded actual law, there’s no way around this issue. Every crunchwrap will NEVER…
You guys really need to stop talking shit about TMZ then using them as your primary sources, you're honestly no better than them at this point and at least they're doing the work you're ripping off
Just watched the TMZ video (thanks a lot, never go to that site). She asked multiple times for people the splash her with water, (“I’m hot as f**k, cool my pu**y down” so classy) and a lot of people did exactly like that. Then she trips out because someone splashes her with (maybe) not water? Certainly looked like it…
Humans live quite successfully from the high Arctic to the Sahara desert. We will be fine, as a species. All 8B+, possibly not. Do the planet a favor, have yourself spayed or neutered. Which is really the very best thing we can do about this whole mess - MANY fewer humans infesting the place.
Hmm. Have to think when it gets cold that turns into quite the unpleasant gap.
That looks like an expansion joint. That’s a good thing. The problem this article is touching upon is that expansion joints can’t handle how much material expansion is happening when the temperatures are hitting new highs.
Werner von Braun did as well!
You post the kind of tabloid shit TMZ is known for, use TMZ as a source, and include a dig at TMZ for posting tabloid shit. Jesus Fucking Christ.
He’s also been dead for about seventy years and it’s a bit of dumb fun on the internet about how he’s not a conventional heartthrob. If we were to only restrict ourselves in finding entertainment value in the historical icons / people in general who weren’t flawed or problematic in some way, we wouldn’t have much fun…
Ironically, Darwin had some ideas about the chances of inherited diseases as several of his children were rather sickly. I think he wrote in a letter how he felt that perhaps having kids with a close family member was the cause.
That’s true!
As did Charles Darwin! Scientists marrying their first cousins was a thing, I guess. In all seriousness, first cousin marriage was common in the 19th and early 20th century because among other things, it stopped family wealth from being dispersed. And the negative things like increasing the chances of inherited…
100% agree. I felt like I should try switching to the “natural” stuff, but after a while I switched back because it just wasn’t as good. It’s not terrible, and I can certainly enjoy it, but I’d rather just eat a little less peanut butter and have the good stuff when I do.
A multi-millionaire movie star regrets turning down a role that would have made him a bigger multi-millionaire movie star. So sad. My heart truly goes out to you.
Hard to argue...some things that are mass-produced really are just damn good - peanut butter being one of them. Skippy or Jiff are just solid, reliable, and like Heinz ketchup, Guiness Stout, or Crunch Berries are just how one imagines it to taste.
The irony is that shit posting at strangers is the only sane way to interact with the website FKA Twitter, but it makes the poster seem crazy. It's like the Twilight Zone.
