All good. And in fact, that’s exactly what I was thinking of - AI “art” feels like another instance of techbros trying to force themselves into a society that, really, would rather have absolutely nothing to do with them. (Seriously, would you share an elevator with Mark Zuckerberg? Jesus, imagine if it got stuck.)

Rural resident here, a few hours south east of Niagara as previously mentioned, other considerations that will take time in the market to understand: vehicle resiliency to very dusty environments as well as salted roads, improvement in cold weather degradation, and higher mileage battery degradation.

Let me give you a few more reasons people might be Leary of jumping into an EV now despite the much higher cost of entry(which is a very big reason to not get one now).

We won’t have a choice. The big international companies are shifting to EVs across the other big markets in Asia and Europe, and the economies of scale just don’t make sense to keep on making ICE vehicles for the US market alone. We’ll be like England in the 70s and 80s with its highly idiosyncratic and antiquated

I AM ABOLUSTELY GIDDY about next week’s episode.

“In the plastic fantastic Malibu-meets-Miami enclave of Barbie Land, all jobs are held by women while the men exist to frolic on the beach and the dance floor. It’s a fantasy utopia without walls or negativity.”

I think the idea of a society that communicates in memes has become more and more relevant in recent years.

That episode always bugged the shit out of me. How do you have a functioning system of communication based on nothing but metaphor? What does an instruction manual look like?

Starting to look weird? You’ll be in your 40s someday too.

Darmok and Jalad, at Tanagra.

Oh thanks for the info. I need to catch up on that podcast.

What? The last two have been sub par for sure but this season has been as good as it’s ever been.

They’ve mentioned on the Always Sunny podcast that Day basically just helped come up with the idea and pitch it, then had nothing else to do with it since.

I would love to see Nicado on Always Sunny. I find it really odd that none of the main Sunny cast have popped up in guest roles on Mythic Quest. Day helped create the show I think.

They need to put It’s Always Sunny out to pasture. It’s had an incredible run, but these last two seasons have been earth-shatteringly bad.

So was I (born 1970) And it really didn’t. You can argue that it began waning when Gorby got in power in 1985, but really it either ended in 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell (and East Germany and the other Eastern European countries overthrew their Soviet-backed governments), or by the final collapse of the USSR itself

Have you ever been robbed by a mime?   It’s not a joke.    Suddenly you are in a glass box and have no idea how to get out.

“roughest parts of Montréal”

Huh, seems like a rare case of a quote being stripped of its context and relayed to readers in the most alarmist way possible. Good thing that never happens here on the good old Audio Visual Club.

I absolutely love how M’Benga gets to be part of the main action. Just like McCoy did!
