Prediction: Peralta and Diaz hook up by the end of the season. Or maybe that's how the season ends. They've been spending an unusual amount of time together the last few episodes. Also, Rosa's face after the hug…

I felt manipulated when they changed the actress from the Evie-actress to some Other-actress. I get that they wanted us to have the same experience Kevin was having, or at least to wonder whether or not she was really Evie, but the second actress didn't really look like Evie, except superficially. Disappointed only

I agree. I think it was because this season had a lot less Martha, and she was my favorite thing about the first season. Also, yes, Louie Anderson does a great job as Christine, but the focus was a lot more on her this season than it was on Chip, and I don't particularly care for her character.

Good point. Like I said, I know nothing about planes or flying, other than being a passenger a lot. But still, the fact that it would motor down the runway, and then take off, and then suddenly plummet from about 100 feet up, still feels unlikely to me. What could have happened AT THAT PARTICULAR MOMENT that would

I was just wondering the same thing. I've heard of take-off accidents where the plane hits another plane, or skids off the end of the runway, or hits a flock of geese… but to suddenly plunge almost straight down right after take-off without any discernible external event happening seems… urealistic. They didn't show

I was hoping you'd include Gabrielle Bell. Funny, moralistic, aware of her own failings. My favorite female comic artist.

Yes, actually! Uganda is landlocked, but there's only one country (Kenya) between us and the Indian Ocean, and that's where most of our sushi comes from. The rest of it comes from farmed fish in Norway.

I've been told that. To me, it just feels like life, but I know I have a lot of good stories. For what it's worth, I'm 57, and life got a lot more interesting around the time I turned 50.

LOL (literally). Honestly, I ask myself that about twenty times a day. Long story, but suffice to say that I felt called to open a school here about eight years ago. (Post-high-school education, focusing on computer skills at different levels). But in that time, I also opened a Mexican restaurant and a hamburger

Impatience… I live in Uganda and watch my shows on Amazon, but they're not posted until midnight east coast time, which is about 7 am here. And if I'm up and the show isn't posted, I'll skim the reviews sometimes. I don't usually find that knowing what happens in the show plot-wise spoils my enjoyment of the show

I read the review before watching the episode (yeah, I do that sometimes) and clicked on the Neutron Dance video at the bottom of the review, and wondered why it was there. A few hours later, I watched the show and saw Neutron Dance and thought "what a coincidence… I just saw that video online SOMEWHERE", not

Agreed!

Gwen Ihnat: I'm with you on Automatic for the People, though I'd gone further with it and actually purchased it. But that was where they lost me… for awhile, anyway. Two or three albums later came "New Adventures in Hi Fi", which I love to the point where it's now my favorite album of theirs (and one of my favorite

Best cold open they've ever done! In retrospect the punchline SHOULD have been obvious to me, but I didn't see it coming.

As a 57-year-old single childless male from Los Angeles but with plenty of friends with teenage kids, it rang totally false for me too. My guess is they used Joe Walsh because they couldn't get, say, Kanye.

I'm taking Coleman's "We're going to burn this place down" literally. I believe the mansion will somehow be torched in the finale.

"Graham, don't think… it makes you look fat!" Might be my favorite line of the whole series so far.

Just saw this. One thing I don't get: there's a new character in it who looks JUST LIKE HITLER. His resemblance to Hitler is neither relevant to the movie nor is ever commented on by any of the characters. Am I missing something here? It would seem like his Hitlerian-resemblance is accidental, but how do you make

In SOME programming languages, it DOES make a mechanical difference once the code is compiled. For example, indentation makes a difference in how the code behaves in Python. (And yes, I'm aware that Python is supposedly an "interpreted language", but it's actually "byte-compiled".)
