What happened to the badassery?
The premiere episode was tightly paced and scripted, and damn near every scene was packed to bursting with some kind of understated-but-overwhelming emotion (usually anger, though the Ava scenes replaced that with lust). Olyphant seemed like he was just barely containing the violence

I'm not saying we all ate organic back then—my point is somewhere in that middle ground that just got skipped over. I definitely agree that we're generally less active compared to 40 years ago, but there's more to it than that.

I mean, you're right in a lot of ways (kids today—with the hair and the music—tend to be more indoorsy than kids 40 years ago; the necessity for a living wage; etc), but it's simply false that the average diet 40 years ago wasn't appreciably healthier: fewer (if any) preservatives; less processed-food-substance

It's not Tamara because the wounds are different: Tamara gets round/"organic"-looking wounds (more like a kind of rezzed version of the impact circles in a T-1000) , whereas Emanuelle's entire arm low-rezzed into polygons when she was just grazed in the shoulder. I both love this subtle difference and feel a small

Out-of-order
Anybody know why NBC is still airing these episodes out of order? I can understand (though disagree with) moving some of the strong episodes to earlier in the season, but the surely the show's found enough of a following now that they can leave it the hell alone, no?

C-
I DISAGREE WITH YOUR OPINION AND SO I AM YELLING AND OUTRAGED.

Yeah, I think that was kind of the key for me: finding groups that I could be a part of and enjoy was probably hugely responsible for me learning how to avoid being a standoffish, mean bastard (like House) and instead an awkward-but-generally-socialized oddball (closer to Sheldon, I guess).

True story.

Glad to hear it
As someone with Asperger's, I'm always happy to see a portrayal of a high-functioning autist that doesn't devolve into Wacky Neighbor or Token Savant territory.

I would agree with you if it hadn't happened so quickly.

I haven't read any comments below, so maybe it's answered there. But:

Sadly, it is the style for more than a few misguided souls.

I live on the Jersey Shore.

Tom's said on his blog that Judges' Table takes much, much longer than we see in an episode, so I'd tend to think they just edited him down.

Oh huh, Colicchio *did* praise Jen for her quick thinking—he just did it on his blog, and not on national TV.

So sad to see Jen go
And yeah, Tom's whole "Come on, you let the coals go out? Clearly, you are too nervous to be here" or whatever seemed kind of douchey (but in that bad way, not the good kind of douchey, like when he called out Tattoo Voltaggio for disparaging King Gnome).

YOU DO NOT COMPLETELY REINFORCE MY OPINIONS AND THEREFORE I HATE YOU
Comments expressing indignation over someone else's opinions move beyond "worthless" and proceed directly to "offensive and detrimental to humanity as a whole".

Fish —> barrel
I definitely liked the opening sequence a ton. Maybe my favorite part of the episode. I really like that they made the club feel like communal home—the sentimental nucleus of the SAMCRO family.

Yeah, I felt (a very tiny bit) for the guy, except:
