Allison having never mentioned her daughter to this point is a bit of a continuity issue, since she was mentioned about every episode in S1

Whoever directed this one must have been a big fan of Guy Richie’s film Snatch. Not only did they use the song Golden Brown by the Stranglers, but the shot of Luther being knocked out was pretty much the exact same shot Richie used of Brad Pitt getting knocked down in that film.

But is this really the first time Luther thought to ask his well-connected mobster boss to track down his siblings? What if they had just arrived in a different part of town?

Allison having never mentioned her daughter to this point is a bit of a continuity issue, since she was mentioned about every episode in S1. But I don’t think the siblings each presumed the others were dead, but maybe just lost in time and/or space. There would be no reason to expect they would all have landed in

It’s 10 days to save the world. Again. Five can’t seem to just get the family back together. There’s always has to be an Apocalypse.

Luther is No. 1 because he was the most susceptible to following, to the letter, his “father’s” orders. I think Luther is my favourite because he’s allowed to be dumb, yet heroic and capable of intuitive acts. Usually media just plays dumb as All The Way Dumb (never go full dumb).  Not a complete nincompoop.  Just

Five on Diego: “Imagine Batman, then aim lower.”

Luther apologizing to Vanya and then just leaving felt particularly frustrating

I’m just glad Luther apologized to Vanya for what he did. A little self-realization helps but I imagine a bigger gesture is in order.

I’m not only thrilled that we get regular coverage of The Umbrella Academy season 2, but it’s Caroline! Double yay!!

Yeah, it’s good for a couple of minutes of laughs (mostly at Beaker), but gets old quick.

There’s already a fan-made version with bad Muppet impressions. It was very viral a week or two ago, but I think that was purely because of the concept. The execution is terrible.

And now we all start speculating on the casting for the Muppet parody of Hamilton. Don’t act like you don’t know that’s coming.

“I want to go to Bombay, India and be a movie star” - Gonzo,

I’m all in on this. Just bring the old show back. It’s time to get things started.

I feel like it really had potential, but then they just made all the Muppets mean and selfish and it made no sense

I said for years that a terrific vehicle for the Muppets would be a puppet remake of Larry Sanders, with Kermit as Larry, Fozzie as Hank, and Piggy as Artie, and the 2015 Muppets had so much potential to be that while falling so far short of being that.

They broke Miss Piggy!

I will never forgive them for that.

That said, I’m keeping Disney+ an extra month just for this.

I maintain that the 2015 Muppets show deserved better, if only for giving us Fozzie Bear experiencing a micro-aggression.

Being part of Peacock would be a boon. The channel was basically Cops and Cheaters reruns when there wasn’t ATOS, X-Play, and OG Ninja Warrior to fill space
