Welcome to my struggles when I watch non-native speakers of Mandarin on movies and shows.  Chinese is such an accent and tone driven language, it drives me crazy when it’s not done properly - props for the attempt, I guess.  Double props if the dialogue actually matches the captioning.

It’d definitely change the dynamic in the household.

(The close-up on Nandor’s face when Laszlo said, “I don’t know about you, old chap, but I have a raging hard-on!,” was hilarious.)

“These witches are sly, but so am I. I think I have them figured out. Door on the floor, we ain’t here no more.”

Astra and Behrad did not have that much dialogue but he correctly identified her as a diva (“a female version of a hustler”) and the look she gave him after they got their memories back & she told him they weren’t mind controlled anymore was smoldering

Yeah. If Mick ever leaves early (and maybe the daughter arc this year is setup for him to leave next year, like Stein), I hope he gets a moment with Sara to acknowledge how much he’s grown. It’s shocking to go back to his debut on Flash and realize how one-note he was.

I really wanted Zari 1 to stay but it might just have swung in Zari 2s favor when Zari 1 cracked open her phone. Her gasp and indignation made me laugh out loud. Plus I like John more than Nate who I admit was pretty funny in this one. The steel assisted Sisqo stomp for the win. And most songs where made to be sung

Nate is a seriously resilient dude. His time on the Legends has been a constant series of personal losses and disasters with losing the love of his life, the amazing original Zari, possibly the one that hurts the most. At least he can go visit Ray (probably).

I was really skeptical about Mick’s story line at the start of the season. He was burdened with one of those TV “we are out of ideas” ideas - a daughter he didn’t know he had. Starting with the Dyonasis episode they managed to pay it off with some solid character development and an actual role for the “surprise

Wow, Grant Gustin looks weird with a beard.

These last few episodes focusing on Free Will told a better story than the third season of Westworld ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Absolutely loved them.

Loved the reference to Leonard Snart in this review. I wish the show had made it, since free will was the reason he sacrificed himself in Season One. Maybe Legends just didn’t want to reference Season One, since it was in the Hall of Bad Ideas.

The Guardians would be fun, but the light was blue (Saint Walker?), not green. There is supposed to be a GL show coming up on HBO, so maybe introduce the whole spectrum here?  Larfleeze and the Legends would be perfect -- maybe get the crew from My Cartoon President to animate him.

My other thought was that it might

From that second I saw Sisqo’s still, I wanted but also knew deep down a climactic battle scene with the Thong Song playing over and I/WE GOT IT and bless Beebo for this show.

Obligatory reminder:

I’m happy Behrad is sticking around. There were probably a hundred ways it could have come off as stupid, but they did a great job of making him feel like a vital part of the team from the beginning.

Between the Thong Song and the punkified Mr. Parker theme this week, and the “Repress” song and Ultimate Buds theme last week, Legends is really going all in on musical numbers, and I am lovin’ it.
