I expected a lot of things from this crossover, but not that the finale would have me tearing up at several points, for a variety of well-earned moments: Seeing a Leo(nard) Snart who is well and truly happy and in love; Russell Tovey getting some superhero shine; and that the death (for now?) of Martin was treated…

Scott, I don’t know what you’re talking about. Doing the crossover as one continuous story has made this whole event a gas. And Leo Snart is already an asset to this continuity.

My only complaint is a logistical one. You’d think that a bunch of Nazis running around would prompt Kara to say, “You guys should meet my cousin.”

One thing they could do is have Frank fight off various assassins -- The Rose specifically comes to mind -- until he figures out that they were deployed by Fisk.

I did appreciate that the gang actually figured out that Damien was a) probably trying to put them off of something and b) most definitely going to kill them anyway.

Your points are taken, Scott, but I’m still enjoying this year far more than the mopefest of last season. Ralph is proving to be a decent enough foil for Barry. And really, one of Barry’s enduring qualities since he was mentored by Oliver is to pay that forward; he’s always been there for Kara, after all.
