Now that Marvel’s starting to talk about letting shows exist as more than a crossover-delivery system, I do wonder how much will really be settled for this show this season, what with their only being three episodes left. I also could’ve gone for a Sylvie solo episode showing us — and granted, maybe we get a scene

I also wouldn’t be surprised if Casey ends up being either an OB variant or taking on his role within whatever version of the TVA lingers on after this season.

I do agree with you a bit — this could end up being a Kang’s plan to get himself inside the agency office and create himself, either by immersion or by something related to the Loop issue. (Also I just realized that this would basically be the MCU’s version of the Colin Robinson plot from What We Do In The Shadows.)

The poor guy’s time-hopped to enough catastrophes, don’t wish that upon him!

I’m really going to enjoy watching X-5 get got.

I said over on IO9, nevermind that whole Galactic Starcruiser mess, Disney should invest in some hotels with a TVACore aesthetic.

Remember, she’s in Oklahoma -- there’s always a non-zero possibility of possum faces to begin with.

R.ai Stevenson, if you will.

(I’m sorry.)

For not a lot happening — and cinching either a second season or the Rebels continuation being a big part of the crossover movie, or maybe its own standalone special — at least this episode zipped along. My own observations:

* Gotta give Baylan some credit; even if he’s (probably) half-daft in his quest for the Crystal

To be fair, Hera calls her droid “Chopper” or “Chop” instead of C1-10P.

I think it goes: Oppenheimer, Godzilla 1954, Godzilla 1985, Barbie.

Godzilla seeing that kid leaving the bus: “HOW DOES THAT GUY PUT UP WITH IT?”

“Sadly, Godzilla’s attempt to pivot to a school bus driving career was short-lived.”

Nu-Scotty is already aces, I think. I also liked the show playing with Pike’s doubts about his story prior to the Batel reveal. Even if we knew he couldn’t have had Gorn eggs in his arms, it was a good beat.

Since we’re talking books, I wonder if somebody will set up an anthology of Crowley/Aziraphale bits -- just the two of them bopping around history. You could do a G-rated version and then an R-rated book for the (ahem) mature shippers.

FWIW from somebody who used to work local TV -- the Sports Guy’s stuff was usually off-the-cuff from my experience; part of my duties was collecting scripts for the talking hairpieces at the desk, and sometimes I’d see the sports copy which would read something like “(JIM)“ with no prompts. So Laszlo got lucky here

Oh I’m sure he was in a rush to “clarify” himself. Gustin was right.

Yeah I’ve got to disagree here a bit — the Colin/Evie/Council bits were great. Hell, when she announced she’d be running instead of Colin, I started applauding at the sight of her shit-eating grin.

Ortegas: What is that all about?
Uhura: Hey, at least it’s not Vogon poetry
