I don’t know about safer, but I’ve seen reasonable minds argue that traffic instructions should generally be downgraded for cyclists. So a stop light becomes a stop sign and a stop sign a yield.
I’m not optimistic for Tesla on this. Not sure the marketplace is favorable for sedans right now.
True, Arizona probably would register.
This vehicle is probably illegal. It saddens me that this video is being pushed without any sort of indication of the potential problems.
How is this not about FIRE!?
Absolutely agree. Here in California we get really unsafe lifted trucks with mudflaps. We have laws against it, but a basic annual inspection would be great and help get such dangerous vehicles off the road.
update: driver says he had his two kids with him in the backseat, so he had reason to be in the HOV lane.
Jason, sorry man, but your article is bad. The headline needs revising at a minimum. The beige car is at fault only to the extent that he cut off the truck, there is no way that car could have seen the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist is UNDENIABLY at fault for his own crash. Why do you ask? Because you can do a 30…

also, automatic lights are designed poorly. In many areas, you have to turn your lights on when it’s raining, but most the systems I’ve come across will not turn the lights on when you turn the wipers on. So the driver gets lulled into automation, then drives illegally.
wrong. The real problem isn’t night-time DRL, it’s parking lights. Parking lights illuminate the dash, so the driver thinks they’ve got it right. The fact that you can put a car in drive while the parking lights are on is an obvious failure of government standardization.
@Denny... No way installation is included in that $700. Also, your $500 charger example is not UL-listed, so if there’s ever a fire that starts anywhere near the charger, expect the insurance company to blame the charger and deny coverage. That being said, $700 for this charger isn’t terrible compared to other…
Not a single driver understands the need to keep wheels turning. If your wheels are completely locked up, like most are in that video, GET OFF THE BRAKES, then apply gently or not at all to avoid locking up. You will likely have more stopping power (coef. friction higher) and will have much more ability to steer your…
