oh that’s kind of disappointing. I just read it had a bunch of levels bundled with it. I just expected them to be of higher quality since it was Nintendo and the level editor was so simpler. plus Nintendo practically invented the modern platformer, it shouldn’t measure to another game. however, you could do so much

Oh they’re not that bad. I’ve seen very few games as long and as frequent as the load times were in Half Life 2 back when it came out. You had to wait for Steam to do its thing too, which was so much slower there, before you could even start the game (to wait again at that first loading screen). I also used to play

my issue is similar. I hate the people who will talk about how graphics don’t matter and how much they love gameplay. you know, the people who will get all high and mighty saying things like“gameplay > graphics” while in the same breath they’ll name off a list of shallow games with pretty pixel art. they’re still

oh that’s cool. I didn’t think about it, but that actually makes sense. Microsoft moving everything to run Windows 10. last I checked the Xbox is getting it next month. porting is already easier this gen since the PS4 and Xbox One use basically the same architecture as the PC. Win10 will make it so much easier. that’s

I have a hunch they won’t port the controller app to PC, but given how useful the 360 controller was in making PC gaming more accessible, I’m sure they’ll make drivers for it (I wouldn’t buy it till they do though). Xinput standardized the disparate layouts of PC controllers. Gone are the days of weird button

I agree it’s too much... but only if you only intend to use it on the Xbox One. If you’re a PC gamer (or game on both), the controller might be worth it. All that configureability goes much further there. Plus, it being a Microsoft product will mean wide compatibility while being of good relatively good quality. Plus

Yeah, I agree for the most part.

further proof some people have too much money.

oh that looks fun. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of it yet.

so by your logic you’ve been wasting my time. thanks?

how about levels? does the game have a campaign mode?

no it isn’t. this type of design has existed since gaming existed. I even pointed out I’ve been playing these kinds of levels in Mario hacks. those have existed for over a decade, maybe more. even legitimate games (especially older ones) were overly hard and had often counter intuitive designs.

thanks. I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll get it as soon as Wii U gets a price drop. not that I hate Wii U. I just don’t know too many games I want. plus I never buy a console at full release price. I eventually try to buy them all though.

we’re stilling using the word “troll” for this? I think we’ve gotten to the point we just need to stop using that word. it’s lost all meaning.

I’m sorry you’ve been called names. I’ve been called an SJW too. it doesn’t bother me. it bothers me more when people use words like “autistic” as pejoratives against me since that’s disparaging to something people can be born with and can’t control. but that’s neither here nor there. that’s why I don’t like people

Now playing

you said you weren’t a gamer. that’s something the antigamergaters were doing. you also mentioned the “us vs them” narrative was justified (which it wasn’t). you also were quick to defend the antigamergaters and attack the gamergaters. you are right though. I did assume naturally because of those three things you were

and the word troll keeps becoming more and more meaningless because people use it to describe most everything other than actual trolling.

yeah, that didn’t mean they media or anyone else needed to stoop to their level (ie the gamergate movement’s level).

so because someone else wanted an “us vs them,” because someone else wanted to fight, you think it’s a good idea to do the same? personally, I think that’s stooping to their level.

yeah, I’m not saying there wasn’t discrimination against the kid and that islamaphobia isn’t a real thing. there’s just much more to the narrative than most people are wanting to admit (I’m guessing because they’ve already chosen a side). it’s important to be value the truth even if it means it goes against our own
