i sort of agree (which i said to another poster). i agree that the earlier games may have sexualized the character (offering more revealing images for better playing the game better) but that doesn't excuse it now. like it or not but Samus is now a progressive female character. she paved the way for many female

to be fair, i thought we were moving away from 80's era objectification (which may be what the other poster meant). the original game was pretty progressive (tricking you into playing a female protagonist) despite the fact they still objectified her in the special ending. but just because something was doing in the

actually it's neither. the value of a game is determined by its platform but more importantly by its age.

it saddens me people disagree with you. like it or not there is a certain price to gameplay length ratio that people expect with every platform.

oh thank you. i guess many years of listening to game devs ive learned to read between the lines. im glad to see i was mistaken in this case.

that's a weird answer. "given that consideration." i take it there will be no feathered dinosaurs?

mods are great but no excuse. mods should be about changing or improving features of the game. they shouldnt be about fixing problems the devs intentionally added.

i loved Wolfenstein 3d back in the day. i also liked Return to Castle Wolfenstein. but now i am starting to get a little bored with the whole FPS aspect of these games. i dont care if it helped define the genre its feeling stale and Wolfenstein has a history beyond its FPS games. it started out as a stealth action

so two levels for $10 instead of one? yay?

ive always thought DBZ made would make more sense as an RPG than a fighting game. i mean sure the show had fighting but usually the fights werent equally matched (like fighting games have to be). there were also the constant themes of travel and getting stronger. two things that dont work in fighting games.

i actually agree (despite it being unpopular to do so). i played the game when it came out and felt it was pretty but also very lackluster.

ha! that's actually why i clicked the article. i was curious to see what kind of erotic game could have that weird scary guy in it.

in 12 hours! ;)

ive never been a big fan of ragdoll physics. i cant say this has changed my mind.... BUT i cant wait for this game!!!!!!!! it looks so fun!

read the quote the other poster posted. Notch says he never played any mods which is a blatant lie. i never said it was good or bad. its just funny to see Notch rewrite history.

but it also makes the whole idea behind using her as the player character seem like a dumb idea in the first place. if it cant work from a gameplay level without breaking the game, then she shouldnt be the main protagonist. people had a similar problem with the protagonist in Bioshock 2 (well at least many of those

it's funnier when you realize he actually lifted some things directly from mods before the game was released. it was a pretty big controversy in the Minecraft community for a while.

Comcast is worse than Time Warner Cable (which they are buying BTW)

I got it the other day on Android when it was on sale for 99 cents. It's okay. The graphics aren't even all that great for a mobile game. The gun play is really bad. I liked the mobile Dead Space much more than this game honestly but it's fun enough for a mobile game. But you are right the quality standard is much
