youre the one thats getting upset. i am simply pointing out their poor planning may hurt the games development. also thats a false analogy. the odds of this game being hurt by poor planning is much much greater than the odds of the world ending tomorrow (which are next to zero). its not as if Double Fine doesnt have a…
because if they dont make enough money (which is always a possibility when a game goes overbudget) then they will either have to scrap the rest of the game, or more likely, reduce its size and quality.
every game does not go over budget. thats a gross overgeneralization. on top of that most kickstarter games (what we are talking about here) stay within budget.
actually there a few more. there are no start and select type buttons meaning it has fewer buttons than standard controls (more if you count the stick buttons). also, IIRC the triggers are not analog so you racing games will be greatly hampered.
they went way over budget despite getting way more than what their Kickstarter asked for. they also ran multiple campaigns for this single game and even started one for their next game. they only announced they went over budget AFTER they got funding for their next game. sure they may be able to finish the game but…
i think this is a symptom of a bigger problem. there are a lot of "free 2 play" games on phones aimed at kids with exorbitant in app purchases. this practice shouldnt be accepted regardless of who is to blame here. there are companies seeking to take advantage of children whose phones have their parents credit card…
exactly. it bugs the crap out of me how people can skim over an article or a headline and automatically feel they are experts on the subjects. then they are ready to pass blame. even an iota of research would have made them realize this wasnt exactly a cut and dry issue. you are 100% correct in your assessment. some…
this is a weird comment for a couple reasons. for starters, bugs arent junk. they were actually a staple of early human diets. many contain lots of protein and vitamins and some actually taste quite good. bugs are actually better for you than traditional meats. there are many parts of the world where people still eat…
if this was any other developer people wouldnt be this forgiving. i remain skeptical till the final product is out. right now its all just a lot of words when they have no one to blame but themselves. hopefully this works out well for everyone. it just irks me how easily people are glossing over the fact Double Fine…
now if only Diablo 3 would also add offline to its PC version.
well ive always thought legos have always been pricey in general but you are right about the licencing.
a bit pricey but i may have to splurge and get this anyway.
sorry but i am skeptical this will be good. the one alien idea sounds intriguing. but from what ive heard youll be fighting humans. so i can very easy see this turning into a generic shooter with the occasional sequence where you hide from an alien.
any news about PSN games owned on the PS3 (that are tied to your account already)? they better not try to make me pay again to play them.
a quick search reveals it is on Steam. surely some of the people who bought didnt think Steam would let something so clearly broken on their service. i mean people should still research what they buy... but Steam is still somewhat responsible since they are still selling it. and its not like Steam sells just every…
yeah, i was a little confused cause i knew Comcast wouldnt provide fast internet. who is the provider?
i chose UPlay back when they had dollar games. i got Driver. aside from that i chose everyone else.
Wow when did that happen? I used to live in chattanooga and they had some of the worst internet around.
i didnt say i didnt get it. i said i didnt like it.
