if it had multiplayer, it was a multiplayer game. im afraid you are getting too hung up on semantics. i never claimed it was only a multiplayer game. in fact, i mentioned it was also a singleplayer game. a game can be both a singleplayer game and a multiplayer game. one does not exclude the other. its rather troubling

it had multiplayer. it was both a singleplayer and a multiplayer game. did people not play the great System Shock 2? of course, you could be being sarcastic.

to all the anti-multiplayer people, System Shock 2 had multiplayer and it was 1000 times better than Bioshock. multiplayer doesnt make a game great, but lack of multiplayer doesnt either.

System Shock 2 was a multiplayer game.

also you make the assumption that humans can perform the changes nature requires for survival. one, it assumes that humans will want to make changes that are good for them (just look at fat people to see the flaw in this one. also see global warming). two, it assumes people are smart enough to make these changes

i never claimed evolution was an active force or process.

the article was more elementary since it didnt touch evolutionary aspects very much. its content was more elementary even though there was more of it. perhaps, foundational would be a better word (you dont need to know evolution to understand why genetic tampering is a negative thing). i never claimed i was saying

people forget thats the state of all Microsoft OS's. Microsoft changes key things (i still remember when they moved My Computer off the desktop and renamed it to Computer. extra clicks!!!). somethings have kinks in them. they get fixed. the only really bad OS ive encountered of theirs is ME. even 7 was broken at

no idea, but if i had to guess its probably because games on XBLIG make very little money compared to Steam. just look at Cthulhu Saves the World.

i thought it was on XBLIG

thats not true. nature selects for us all the time. ever heard of AIDS or heartattacks? what about hurricanes and droughts? sure our environment has changed but human beings are still bound by it. just look at all the people who die from car crashes. changing the rules just means changing the list of what will weed us

no Big Rigs? youre just throwing away money then.

ME was a disaster. Vista wasnt. like most OS's it had its kinks at launch. SP1 fixed pretty much everything.

pretty sure all microsoft OS's last 3 years with the exception of XP.

windows 8 is the end of the world. kinja is revolutionary. lol

dx11.1

i get what hes saying. you arent getting what im saying. im saying its shortsided. you cannot predict what nature will favor. by taking a shortcut you may very well destroy our chances for survival (as a species).

actually we dont. human beings have a very narrow scope and only care about their immediate and individual survival. it is true evolution has no interest in keeping us alive. those of us who survive will be better adapted for survival. by (arrogantly) taking the process into our own hands, we will more likely

lets hope its not as badly implemented as them selling game soundtracks. soundtracks should go under the media tab. you shouldnt have to browse your steamapps folder to find the soundtrack (that auto downloads with the game as DLC).
