This is nothing like what steam machines were. This is a single piece of hardware made by Valve. Steam Machines were made by dozens of different companies and were just PC’s that ran a linux based version of Steam. There were $500 steam machines and there were $5,000 steam machines. 

They’ve been more clear and transparent with this than any other product of theirs. They said it can handle 30 FPS at 720p with some settings having to even go to low but still being able to maintain it.

Anyone who knows thing 1 about CPU/GPU/AGPUs knows what this thing is capable of. This article is not surprising news whatsoever.

Sounds to me like EVGA haphazardly slapped the “FTW3" label on there after factory overclocking the chips beyond what they could actually do consistently and safely.

Good research but terrible take. There’s no issue with the layout in the context of its location and the approaching speed limits. If the speed limit before the 15mph sign were 60mph I might agree, but it’s not.

The ownership status and knowing the limits of the car is irrelevant. Nobody should consider 150mph to be a safe speed on any public road in the USA.

Owned, stolen or rental, it doesn’t matter.
