Yeah Kanell is a lunatic these days. Recently he's taken it upon himself to wage the 'football' side of what he considers the war on football and it's more than a little annoying when I see something he's said on the topic.

Seeing some really nice stories on Twitter about how kind and respectful Saunders was towards fellow TV folks, even ones he was 'above'. He wasn't my favorite but as a young kid I heard his voice cut into CFB games for highlight/updates from other games about a billion times and it was always welcome.
According to another article I read on this subject (TVLine I think), Coulson isn't the director because now that Hydra has been destroyed, SHIELD is 'out of the shadows' and since people think Coulson is dead, he can't be the public face of it. I guess.
This reminds me way too much of the Film Actors Guild's worldwide peace conference in Team America, except they're working against the looney tune instead of with him.
You gotta creep. Creep.
Pretty much everything MacNicol does in that movie is gold. Someone said here recently, and I forget who, that he's so good that the commenter has repeatedly assumed he's in the first movie.
You just flashed me to a world where we go through this same shit again with a BTTF remake and I now hate you for it.
It's silly and unnecessary, but there was plenty enough good stuff in it to justify its existence.
I don't doubt that there was a large subset of geek culture that was pissed about this reboot, but I, as a pretty avid Internet user, probably would never have known about it if not for the sizable counter-backlash by this and many other sites determined to inform you that you'd better be cool with this because…
Other Guys is a damn masterpiece. Everything with Capt. Gene is a treasure, Will Ferrell's tuna/lion monologue is guaranteed to elicit a cackle every time, Mark Wahlberg's obsession with being a peacock, the homeless guy orgies in the Prius…I can't get enough of it.
Hey, that's 3-time MTV Best Kiss winner Tobey Maguire to you, guy.
Wh-at?
I've posted it before, but I think there are 2 kinds of Will Ferrell fans, those who love Step Brothers to death but aren't crazy about The Other Guys, and vice versa. I'm an Other Guys guy.
I understand why Idiocracy always ends up on these lists, but I confess, I've seen it 3 times at this point, and it really isn't that funny - or at least not as funny as it ought to have been. I'd have been fine with Dodgeball bumping it.
When I think of people who have overcome great odds in their life, I think of Hillary Clinton.
I'm not interested in getting into a holy war, but saying "fuck" any belief system because human beings have occasionally used it as cover to do selfish awful things rubs me the wrong way. Everyone who believes in God is not to blame when evil people co-opt a faith to do something evil. I'm sorry you had a bad…
Yeah, don't get that one. I do my best (with limited success) to avoid partisan news and I certainly felt like Obama was being treated with kid gloves to some extent once he became the nominee.
And that is a scientific FACT!
As usual, I find a post in a thread that better encapsulates what I wanted to say after making mine. I bow down to you, sir. And to Weezer.
It's almost certainly because I didn't pick up on Weezer until after Make Believe came out, but I don't generally like the at times over-the-top hatred for Weezer's post-Pinkerton stuff. Yes, Blue and Pinkerton are awesome, but there are great songs on each of their albums. Even the songs most pan as dumb strike me as…
