Do you even lift, world?
The lack of Kwazy Cupcakes is a blight upon this list. I clicked this link solely for it.
Tom didn't die (no body when the room is last seen) and the Blacklist creator's name is Jon, not Joe. Why do presumably paid reviewers screw up such elementary details so often?
Surprised this wasn't brought up, but David Arquette wasn't married to Courteney Cox when he appeared on Friends - in fact, I believe he met her on the set.
I don't know what it is, but Cobie Smulders with a ponytail = SWOON
I really liked this episode, but that whole thing was kind of annoying. "Are you a murderer, Skye?" "No, and I still won't be if YOU kill Ward here, so…."
It's especially stupid given that EVERY SINGLE LATE-NIGHT HOST is a liberal already. I'm not sure why replacing one with another merits such foaming at the mouth.
My senior year of college, my 2 roommates and I made a nightly ritual of going through all 16 tracks in MK64 and competing for 1st place. And it felt fresh every single time. That game rules all.
That was Ron Powlus, not Mirer, that Brent said that about. He was supposed to be the greatest college QB of all time. He was actually pretty good, but no one remembers that because he was hyped up to be much more
It isn't specifically earmarked for C students - you're thinking of the plaque he had put in one of Ball State's telecom buildings as a condition of one of his sizable donations that reads "dedicated to all C students before and after me!" The scholarship given out is heavily dependent on creativity as a project is…
The Mother dying was understandable, but they had to effectively assassinate Barney's AND Robin's (esp Barney's) characters in the finale to shoehorn in the Ted/Robin ending that they'd spent the last 6 seasons telling us wouldn't make any sense. That drove me nuts.
I haven't rewatched any episodes pre-finale yet, but my gut feeling is that most of them won't be harmed by the bad taste of this finale. Any episodes surrounding Barney and Robin, though, are going to ring hollow, I think.
I'm ready to be proven wrong, but I can't possibly imagine any moment in the rest of this show's run will top that one for sheer hilarity.
Season 1 is my favorite, but Season 2 is GREAT. Either Slap Bet or Swarley, among a few others, would be the 'best episodes ever' of a lesser sitcom.
I think the line that first got me was the Barney-Ted exchange in Purple Giraffe:
B: Solid plan, my little friend.
T: We're the same height.
I knew from the concept I wanted to see it but I think I actually missed the pilot. I saw most of the Season 1 episodes and I'm pretty sure I didn't miss one after about halfway through S1.
1) Come On
2) Slap Bet (Where Were We not far behind)
3) Spoiler Alert
4) Shelter Island
5) Girls Vs Suits
6) Last Words
7) Tailgate (No Pressure not far behind)
8) Final Page (is there even another option?)
9) How Your Mother Met Me (see previous answer)
Favorite season ranking: 1, 2, 7, 3, 4, 6, 9, 8, 5.
Most underrated…
Great rivals, underrated rivals actually. I thoroughly enjoy the MSU series. Unfortunately the Spartans asked to play less often so they could play other high profile teams (Oregon the next two years), but them's the breaks.
Chickened out by replacing them with Texas?
