as I stated above, they have an extra attacker, but not an extra man. It’s still 6-on-6. There’s no man advantage yet.

This is one of those “technically correct, the best type of correct” situations.
I wish I would of read that before replying...
For the same reasons the Netflix shows were better than Agents of Shield.... they are much shorter. There’s less/no filler episodes to round out the season to 22-26 episodes. There’s no “Monster of the week” just to get another show in.
vs Shinji in episodes 25 and 26 of Evangelion.
This year’s downfall of the Pens was caused by 1 guy: Tom Wilson. After the 2018 series when the Caps finally bested the Pens, they blamed the loss on the fact that they couldn’t contain Tom Wilson. His size beat the crap out of them and the hit on ZAR demoralized the Pens. So, in the off-season, the Pens decided to…
He will always put up points, but his lack of defense and lack of production in 5 on 5 (by my count he only scored 3 even strength goals from January-April this year)
Never turn your hobbies into your primary means of income. All jobs eventually become boring and a chore. You don’t want your main form of stress release to become a stress itself. You don’t want to dread having to go to work when work is now what you used to do for fun.
You can’t make me care... and that’s a good thing. I don’t care because I can’t ever have one nor do I think I know whats better for you than you do. You are confusing “caring” with “telling you what you can and can’t do”.
At least he wasn’t kicking the pigeons...
This is the correct take. There are hundreds of commenters here that can’t grasp the difference between the penalty “Too Many Men” (which requires more than just 6(7) people on the ice to be called) and the infraction “Offsides” (which has absolutely nothing to do with the number of players on the ice, just WHERE the…
Re: offsides
Not only that, the rules state the the officials (refs and linesmen) can only use each other to determine the call. They can’t even look at the jumbo-tron.
I can’t say “they didn’t deserve to win the game.”
The goal was reviewed. The goal was fine. The issue is that they missed a hand-pass that occurred 2 passes before the goal that should’ve stopped play, but, because the NHL was extremely conscious of the flow of their game, hand-passes are not allowed in the list of things that can be reviewed by replay. Only the…
I wish I represented all white people when I say this (but I know I don’t):
I agree with you. That’s why there are so many labels that say “known to cause cancer in the state of California” because no actual scientific studies were done, but a jury said it was so. And in our country of law by precedence, the outcome of a trial is considered fact. Ergo, because this jury said so, regardless of…
1. That never happened (the suing about the seed). Basic genetics proved the farmer was lying. He wasn’t sued because he had Monsato seeds. He was sued for breach of contract because he was a test farm for one of their strains of corn and had signed a contract agreeing that he would not keep any of the seeds for…
I don’t have kids and never will (thank you surgery!), but I can see how that could be an issue for parents that do have kids. You never know if something happens and a policeman, emt, hospital, school worker, etc.. would have to call you on their behalf.
And to be more clear (just trying to be more debate-y and less condescending, which wasn’t my intent).
