Actually, race just seems to be an issue for the reviewer, who feels black kids would feel less inclined to help a white girl out. I don't see Emma agreeing to the notion, she's just questioning whether Rebecca's race has been established. Imo race is no factor in this specific context.

Episode gets an A for no one standing in the sun. Hoping for a bright future in which "The Sun Don't Shine".

“I’m not choosing. I’m not choosing Jake. I’m not choosing Fitz." she said, before her lower lip started trembling at the sight of Fitz and the memory of Jake touching her like no other had touched her before made her daydream. “I’m not choosing." she said and put us through 4 more seasons of not choosing.

I didn't find any of it believable. Why would a guy leave his wife to marry his piece of ass for rough sex, slut, what have you? And then stay married through miscarriages and all, if his only feeling towards her seems to be disgust?

Exactly. I would've been the first to channel my inner Sweet Brown: "He
killed Lila and tried to kill Rebecca. Ain't nobody got time for that!"

Right. I don't know the actress so assumed she was white. Either way, I object to the implication that race would factor into decision-making within the situation.

Annalise behind that desk: "Don't be." Viola Davis is too good for this show.

Does it need to?

No one in the world have gone down for murder for defending themselves against a person in their PLACE OF WORK. It's not the first time they're there after dark. Considering they're all supposed to be super smart to have gotten into Middleton and studying the law, this should have been known to them. Guess they would

Good point. But I thought the subtlety with which the flirting occurred was supposed to show the process (my flirts are never that subtle and maybe that's why they hardly end well). For a while I didn't know what flirting the av comment section was yammering about, since, until the most recent episode, I felt they

"That's good news, because I don't shout." Diane's a BOSS.

He's been to her apartment. I think Peter's absence in her life is very visible there. And her behavior implies she's open, so imo he's not overreaching morally.

divorced

Seems Ramona is Peter's Will.

Bishop might literally kill you, sooooo…kinda playing it fast and loose with "kill" there.

Finn and Alicia on the couch. Holy shit, the tension! Officially a shipper.
"I always hated that the offices were glass." Me too, Alicia. ME. TOO.

If it were red, probably.

True, but none of those is a talent. Michaela is smart, Connor's got sex, Wes can apparently manipulate people, Asher is the necessary cliche and Laurel….meh. She's the Green Hornet of the group. Idealism bores me.

Do you think they'd go with another power hungry VP after Langston? It's a tried road.

Where does the Andrew reveal leave Mellie? Is she his back-up sex at the White House or did Lizzie just enter the picture, because Mellie was being so distant? Is Andrew maybe genuinely into Mellie emotionally, but enjoys Lizzie's sex-power-intrigue combo?
