What was fantastic about the Gallardo was that it didn't apologize for what it was. The e-gear gearbox felt like it was actively trying to ruin the car if you had it in Corsa mode. There were still eccentricities like buttons that had unknown purposes and seats that rubbed against the bulkhead. And by the end of its

I...erm...like it!

I think you're on the wrong page. Hit that back button to Jezebel.

Stereotypes aside, minivans offer more practicality than the average SUV while getting better fuel economy. The only real-world sacrifice you make with a minivan is that you can't take it offroad, but nobody goes four wheeling in new SUVs anyway. It's a shame that minivans, America's most sensible vehicles, have to be

I have a massive Issue with this bulge behind the rear wheel. Never liked it on the Toyota IQ, do not like it here as well. Wheel looks both too small and inset to work, as if this were a test mule.

I'm not going to do a personal attack. I just want to say that I respectfully disagree. As a fellow New Yorker I find commute times and fluidity are already horrible as it is, we do not need to make things worse. I agree safer driving can be had (I'd dare speculate many of these accidents are caused not by a 5mph

The word "Sporty"gives me the shivers. Ungh! Agreed with you, should've been better.

Good review, Mr. Ballaban. Glad to see one Journalist finally seeing THE DETAILS in interiors. Normally things are much less perceptive on that front. Very good work.

Yep. Absolutely spot on. I had one and boy was it neglected. Still ran like a champ and was CHEAP to maintain. It even handled handbrake turns rather well!

The automotive equivalent of castration.

Would rather eat my right foot than buy one of these.

Erm, no. Jeremy Clarkson once rightfully said a Minivan is what you deserve if you can't keep it in your pants.

There's a massive unauthorized copy in Mexico, too:

I do, too. I'm not sure I subscribe to the unfounded ranting. It was fast, had character, was "ahead" of its timeframe.

Handled like a pro, Jason. Much respect.

Must be a slow news day.

Bwahahahahahah!!

Weight. As others have commented, it's the combination of very sticky tires, good brakes and weight. Lots of it. The GTR had the same problem because it, too, is a bit on the heavy side. Something's gotta give (rotate).

Is it me or the square screen is fighting all other elements in this interior?? Also, who would've thought the Germans would be enamored with cyberpunk manga styling in their interiors. I, for one, find it strange. But very appealing.

Instead of a timing chain, the engine uses a relatively new belt-in-oil system that takes up less space and manages to save about 1% of MPG. It's because of this I learned that there's a sort of engineering rivalry between the Belt Guys and the Chain Guys, and this is a victory for the Belties. Your move, Chainheads.
