It was actually good. The gameplay was fun (and you bet I turned the difficulty down for boss fights) and the story was just as good. No masterpiece, but this is star wars. Good vs evil, some friendship, yada yada.

Or made-up fantasy hate. Like Harry Potter for example

Just say you're a white supremacist and leave. No one cares.

Whatever you say, Kanye.

You’re not wrong - what Baron did to Mist is brutal as this trend started - but crimes against humanity definitely hit different in 4K CGI.

Me in 1994: I love the part in Final Fantasy when the cute little cat creatures dance to perform magic spells.

“We decided melanin isn’t allowed but we really wanted to bury those gays so M rating it is.”

That interpretation isn’t any better. It’s 20 fucking 22. There is zero excuse for lacking diversity in your cast.

The professional players would play both, because that’s what professionals do: they hit the tournament circuits. Fans would attend and

I hate to sound extreme but I honestly hate Nintendo’s practices to no end and the sad part is they do this because they know they simply can and the community is stuck playing their game and Nintendo loyalist (nothing wrong with that, you like what you like) who will support to the end so anything that Nintendo can’t

That’s not quite the correct take here—there’s more nuance than that.

And of course, if this had been done by any other company, they would be called out immediately but is Nintendo and already tons of comments tripping over to justify or soften their actions
