Yeah I figured I was hazy. But it hasn't really been that way recently. And it's one thing for characters to talk about subject, but it's another to be actively involved in that subject together and I think that's what makes the difference for me.

Thank god all that development/heart eyes/emotional moments they were writing for Petra and Rafael the past season and a half finally went somewhere. I was wondering if the writers were just playing chicken or something. And if it keeps Jane and Rafael from getting together even better.
They've been at the same school since the beginning. I assumed it was either 7-12 or K-12. That's common though to split a school between" Upper" and "Lower". And Geoff's yearbook did say Upper School on it, too.
My only explanation for it is that seasons 1 and 2 are a mix of the same year, cause yeah otherwise Barry would've been in 8th grade in season 1 which makes no sense whatsoever.
