True. But in making them more like a comic (tie-ins, cross continuity) they managed to create the 3rd most profitable film of all time. (27th adjusted for inflation). So it's hard to argue against it. They ARE a company.

My favorite comics when I was young were Fantastic Four and Nova.

I actually owned this drill-penis Micronaut when I was a kid.

Producing better products and spinning B.S. PR are not mutually exclusive things.

Wow, some guy named Drewstein1 needs to chill out a bit.

Almost correct. They ARE money grubbing assholes who changed the connector. But it was not to screw people over; it was to grub more money.

I wonder if your babysitter was actually raised in a box or if she was raised in a metaphorical one by an over-controlling father? I've heard the phrase used in that way.

How was Syndicate? I had high hopes for Deus Ex: Revolution from the look and feel but gameplay wise it was not all that interesting.

They're about to get Prometheused.

That picture never, ever, ever gets old.

FemShep or NoShep!

He was pretty standout in what I thought was an otherwise lackluster film.

Yeah, my BS meter went off. I doubt HIGHLY that the algae grows fast enough to change characteristics minute by minute.

Yeah. For me the phone is a $200 upgrade. Plus $30 for an adapter so my car stereo can attach it it with the old connector. Plus $19 for a lightning cable in the car. Plus $19 for a lightning cable at work. Oh, and my wife has one. So double that. All and all cables and adapters from this are going to cost me

Actually, I love the heck out of my iPhone and that's why I bought the new one the day it came out.

That is actually good info that I was unaware of. It mitigates some of the lock-in (with music) but not with other purchases (apps). But, still, great info!

The cables are not yet available online. It is silly to sell the phone at cellular providers and not sell any cables (indeed, only selling them at your store to drive customers to go there).

Truthfully I could care less about turn by turn navigation. So far the few times I've used the new map app it has worked out just fine ...but admittedly I'm not a map power user or anything.
