Just got a posting from a recruiting firm. The job posting was almost identical to my resume. I didn't do the "passed the job on to so-and-so" but I did write a note that specifically called out my expertise in each of the required areas.

I can't imagine any interpersonal issues between the firms and myself - definitely not multiple places. As for my salary expectations, I've done quite a bit of research and I think my expectations are definitely in-line with the market.
