When you illegally shotgun random thousands of classified documents into the public arena, you don’t get to call yourself a journalist.

This. There are other, better, actual journalists and journalistic operations involved in whistleblowing that deserve this sort of full-throated defense. Assange and what Wikileaks has become over the last few years are not part of that group.
Agree all the way through. My reaction through this entire article was: I’m sorry, but WHAT!?
Don’t even try with Max. It’s in his name. His whole schtick is just goalpost moving and strawman tactics until you’re just arguing over the semantics and syntax of a sentence ad nauseum. He gets off on this shit and is just a straight troll using logical fallacies.
Americans do not grasp this and never have. Sitting Presidents get the credit for the current economy always, despite having almost no actual impact on it (though Trump has, but negatively). This is the culmination of Obama’s Presidency, but hey, something something Dijon mustard tan suit long-form birth certificate,…
“My fellow students often tell me that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a ‘role model’ and that America should be more like socialist Europe,”
Of course Ferrall is friends with Ben Shapiro. It all makes sense now. This is a ploy to make it appear that Ocasio-Cortez is in danger and Ben swoops in and “saves the day”. She’ll have to notice him then!
Quite a complement, being deemed threatening by impotent, ugly Nazis.
Words have meanings, and those meanings have consequences.
Referring to anyone as a “domestic terrorist,” particularly in the continuing post-9/11 environment of paranoia, xenophobia, and ethnocentrism is an exceptionally serious charge, and one that should only ever be levied after verified terrorist acts have been…
The goggles! They do nothing!
Okay this really sticks in my craw:
Well, now I see what he’s building. Today Barr said that he agreed with Trump that “spying” happened on the Trump campaign, and he wants to “investigate it” before releasing the Mueller report. Bitches, PLEEZE.
Thank you! I was going to post this too.
It’s pretty weird how attitudes towards “cheating” in video games have evolved over the years. I remember when I was a kid, the primary value of things like “video game magazines” was that they had the cheats in them. I knew one kid who was was briefly the coolest kid in school since he was the first in his peer…
“Moore finally got on the scoreboard by winning that game after two deuces.”
a being of Thanos’ supposed intelligence would easily think of that right away
Any trilogy conclusion is a challenge, as evidenced by how few manage to do it successfully. You can count on one hand how many third parts of a true trilogy have landed it. And this one is trying to be a nonology.
As someone who enjoyed Last Jedi, and loved Force Awakens (despite the fairly glaring flaws of both films) I have high hopes for this. BUT!
The full interview makes it seem he has to deal with actually ending what he started in Episode 7.
